I wake up with my head no longer on my pillow, but on a person.
I stretch my legs out moving my toes and looking up to see Brent sleeping. My head rises with his breaths and He's still wearing his costume and so am I. Except they're all wrinkled from sleeping in them.
I try to get up, but Brent just pulls me back with his arm around my waist. The other hand starts playing with my hair. I look back up at Brent to see him staring at me with a faint smile.
"Brent, we should probably get up before anyone sees" I say quietly hoping that nobody saw us or assumptions will be made.He gives a small nod, but when I try to get up he holds me again.
"Brenntt" I whine quietly.
He kisses my forehead and lets me go so I can get up.
I get up from the bed and head to my closet feeling Brent looking at me I turn around to face him.
"You might want to sneak out, my family will go ballistic if they know you stayed the night" I tell him.
"What about Chad?" he asks.
"Well you can check the guest room quickly, if he's not caught then you two can sneak out through my window" I say.
He nods and leaves my room to the guest room.
I go into my bathroom and change into a pair of dark skinny jeans, and I don't have anywhere to be so I just pull a hoodie over my head and put my hair into a messy bun and brush my teeth.
I leave the bathroom and walk back into my room just as Brent walks in my room with Chad rubbing his head tiredly.
"You're lucky that it's Saturday" Brent tells Chad.
"Shhh, quiet" he says quietly as he puts his finger on Brent attempting to shut him up. Brent rolls his eyes swatting Chad's arm away.
I open the window that leads to the slanted roof on the side of my house.
"Carefully go on the giant tree branch that has green spray paint and get onto the shed and you can leave from there" I say close to a whisper.
Brent nods before shoving Chad to the window where he follows my orders.
"I'll text you when I'm home" Brent whispers and kisses my cheek before following Chad.
I close the window after them and going downstairs to get some breakfast. I make myself some scrambled eggs and toast and sit down at the kitchen island to eat them.
"Why hello, dear sister" Brian says in a teasing voice with a smirk plastered on his face.
"What do you want?" I ask getting straight to the point.
"Well, I was just wondering.. does Thomas know about your little friends who stayed last night" he smirks.
My eyes widen and my jaw drops. In realization of what he means my eyes narrowed and my mouth was carved into a scowl.
"You wouldn't" I say in a low growl.
His smirk becomes more prominent and his eyes twinkle in mischief. "We both know, I so would."
I sigh angrily and raise my eyebrows at him. "Now tell me what you want" I ask in a monotone voice.
"I need you to cover for me this Friday" he says. I raise my eyebrows. "You're bailing on grandpa?" I smirk.
"Well, that's a plus, but no. I have plans" he tells me.
"Fine." I say shrugging my shoulders. It's a small price to pay compared to him telling Thomas about Brent and Chad.
