The waitress takes our menus after I order a simple fettuccini plate and Brent orders a hamburger.
My fingers twist around each other as I can't help but fidget due to my nerves.
Minutes later, the waitress comes back with our plates and I begin eating quickly. I'm a stress eater.
"So Lexi," Brent starts and I look at him quickly finishing the food in my mouth before responding.
"Yeah," I say my eyes going wide.
Brent chuckles before pointing to the side of his mouth. "You got a bit of sauce."
My face goes red before I rub at my face. "Did I get it?"
Brent nods with a big smile. "You're adorable when you blush."
My face heats up even more after the statement.
He chuckles before clearing hs throat.
"So what do you think about school dances?" He asks quickly.
"Well, they can be fun," I say trying to stop myself from smiling like crazy.
Just. Act. Natural.
"Well in that case," Brent says taking a pause.
"Would you want to go to homecoming with me?" Brent asks looking at me in the eyes and I can't help but break out a giant grin.
"I'd love to," I respond and Brent stands up on instinct and pumps his fist in the air. "YES!"
Brent's face goes red and he slowly sits back down and says sorry to everyone who stares back at him strangely.
I stifle a giggle. This goofy man is my boyfriend. Oh dear.
"Sorry, I uh," Brent says to me clearing his throat. "I didn't really know if you wanted a big gesture or a nice little date like this. I was really nervous and got in the heat of the moment an-" I stop Brent from rambling by chuckling.
"Brent, don't worry, you got it perfectly and if it makes you feel better I was just as nervous," I say making him smile.
"Thanks, Lexi," Brent says.

Brent finishes paying and the waitress gives us those complementary mints every restaurant gives.
We take the mints and leave the restaurant hand in hand.
"So what are we doing now?" I ask Brent as we step into his car.
"I don't know what do you wanna do?" he asks.
"Movie night?" I suggest in hope that he'll agree.
"Okay," Brent says as he begins to drive to my house.
In fifteen minutes or so, we arrive at my house. Brent stays in my basement whilst I change into some sweatpants and a hoodie, then taking off my makeup.
I get back downstairs to make some popcorn and go to the basement to see that Brent had Doctor Strange picked out on Netflix and ready to play.
I place the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table in front of us and sit on the couch bringing my feet up and leaning on Brent's shoulder and his arm wraps around me.
When the credits roll onto the screen I yawn and I should probably go to bed, but I'm too comfortable and I think Brent is too because he isn't moving from the couch either.
So I snuggle closer into Brent and I'm covered in his warmth falling asleep quickly.

A/N: This chapter isn't as long as I wanted it to be, but it's here so yay. This was mostly just some cute Brexi scenes here and I loved writing it xD
Not to mention, I have an obsession with the Doctor Strange movie and I totally recommend if you like sci-fi and action and all that (it also has some comedic scenes so there's that too)
I finish school in less than 2 weeks so chapters should be getting out more often than they have been and I'm super excited for it.
Also, this book has 66k views and I'm in actual shock. I never imagined even getting close and this book has been blowing up and it's all because of you guys, so thank you guys so much for sticking with me through this book <3
