Will is missing.

Ever since he blew up and tried to kiss me, nobody has seen him. As much as I am angry at him for trying to make a move on my while I have a boyfriend, he's still my friend and I care about him. I'm worried.

Knowing about his dark past and present I can't help but think that something really bad happened to him.

I just have this deep gut feeling and I just know that he's in trouble.

He's been gone for around four days and since his family didn't call the police, I did. They've been looking for him and posters are put up over the town, but there's still nothing.

The doorbell rings and I stand up quickly and rush to open the door. Two men stand there and they show me their police badges, so I let them in.

"So, Alexandra, when was the last place and time that you saw William?" One of the tall burly men asks me with a notebook in his hand.

"Well he came over with my friends to my house maybe five days ago and he was really angry and so he went outside and I followed. He..tried to kiss me, but I pushed him away, then he apologized and ran off," I explain sadly. I hope he's okay.

"Do you know why he might have been angry?" The other man asks and I shrug.

"I don't know for sure, but I assume it's because the day before I was hanging around and talking to my boyfriend because I wasn't happy with some issues I was having. Then Will found out and assumed the worst, I guess considering that he tried to kiss me.." I trail off explaining my guess that has been roaming my mind for days trying to figure out what really happened.

The man nodded and the other wrote it down in his notepad.

"Do you know any places he might've gone?" He continues asking and I shake my head.

"We have hanging out spots, but nowhere that he could go and not be found easily," I say and they give me sad looks.

"Is there anything else we should know?" A man asks.

"It's in the records already I assume, but his father is in jail and his younger sister has recently passed away, his mother wasn't charged with anything but she gave up custody. He isn't in the best situation, but he's been struggling a lot being abused for years," I say receiving two sad looks.

"I think that's all for now, we'll get in touch if we have anymore questions, and contact is if you remember anything else that could be useful," a man says putting his notepad in his pocket and I lead them out the door.

Closing the door behind them I lean on the back of the door and shrink to the floor.

I honestly don't know what to do.

Someone sits down beside me and they place their arm around me and pulls me close so that I'm leaning on their shoulder.

"You okay?" Thomas asks and I shrug.

"I don't know what to do," I say and he gives me a side hug reassuring me.

"It's gonna be okay, Will's gonna be okay," he says and I want to believe him, but I can't.

~~~~~~
The phone rings and I pick it up to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Is this Alexandra Callop?" A man's deep voice asks.
"Yes, who is this?" I ask as I sit down on my bed and twirl a pen around my fingers.
"I'm calling to ask a fw questions about William Barlow," he says and I stay quiet waiting for him to continue.
"I would just like to know if he ever seemed depressed or... suicidal?" He asks and I feel the hairs on my arms stand as a shiver runs down my spine.
"It's possible that he was depressed, but I never saw him being suicidal," I say after a few moments.
"Okay, well thank you, we're only checking. Sadly, it's common among your age group. We'll check into it and you'll receive a call when we find anything," he says. "Thank you for your cooperation."
"Of course, bye."
"Bye."
I hang up and put down the phone.
Could Will have.. hurt himself?
~~~~~~

It's been almost a month and Will is still gone. Everyone who knew Will was questioned, but the police say they still have no leads. They did say that this seems more than just a missing persons case. Which I know what they mean, but I refuse to believe it.

I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen for some cereal and I find an officer talking to Thomas.

They both turn their heads to face me and I panic seeing both their solemn faces. Something's wrong.

"Miss Callop, I'm here to inform you that we have found William Barlow," the officer says and I stand still waiting for the bad part that I know is coming.

"Unfortunately, he isn't okay," he continues and my body goes rigid. My blood runs cold. My heart stops beating. The world freezes.

They found Will, but what does he mean when he says that he isn't okay?
