Before the lunch bell rang, our lunch time announcements went off and I was supposed to be in the principle's office. I have no idea what it could be for.

I leave class and separate from everyone putting my stuff in my locker before heading to the front office.

The secretary lets me in, and I sit down as he gestures. I look to my left to see that the dumb sexist male lacrosse teacher.

"I was very recently caught up on certain details about the exchange in between you and Mr. Jones when you attempted to try out for the lacrosse team," Mr. Rankin says. "Now I understand why you were angry, and your reaction still wasn't respectful, but that doesn't mean Mr. Jones is off the hook for speaking to you way he did. It was disrespectful, sexist, and absolutely wrong."

Mr. Rankin raises his eyebrows before looking at Mr. Jones.

"I apologize, Alexandra. It was very wrong of me to say those things. To make things right, I've asked if it was alright for you to join the male lacrosse team since you wish to play so badly and since there aren't enough girls to make a whole new team." Mr. Jones says. Although I feel as if he's saying this to keep his job, I know that he feels remorseful and maybe he's actually sorry about it.

Either way, I get a spot on the team, so I'm happy.

I accept his apology and then they begin to explain what will happen. Saying that official school competitions for lacrosse would be tricky since there and separate for male and female teams and they would need to get permission from the board so I can play in those competitions, but I am a part of the team.

I smile, shake hands and leave the room with the satisfaction that I accomplished a very important part of something.

One more step closer to showing up the disgusting sexist people in this school.

Guess what, I'm a girl and I can play sports just as well as guys. Maybe even better.

I head to the cafeteria since lunch still wasn't over and I head to the table where everyone else was situated.

"Hey, what was that all about?" Brent asks me as I sit down.

"Well..." I say with a smirk. "Guess who's now on the lacrosse team!"

As I long around the table everyone is smiling, but with their eyebrows furrowed to show that they're confused. Probably because there's only a male lacrosse team and I'm a girl. Not to mention what happened last time I tried to be a part of the lacrosse team.

"Someone told Mr. Rankin about how sexist and horrible Mr. Jones was being so he made Mr. Jones apologize and allow me to be the only girl on the male lacrosse team," I explain and everyone 'Ohh's' with understanding.

"Wait, really? Mr. Jones apologized?" Jake asks and I nod proudly.

"Yeah, probably still doesn't care about what he said since he was very strong-minded about the whole idea that girls can't do shit, but he seemed partially sorry about it, though he could've just apologized to keep his job," I tell him whilst shrugging.

We continue to talk until the end of lunch when we end up heading to our classes to finish the day.

After school, I put my stuff in my locker and head to the change rooms and get ready for lacrosse practice.

I head out to the field and all the guys look at me weirdly.

"Alright, I know, it's weird to have Alexandra here, but she's on the team now. I had no choice," Mr. Jones says to the guys and they still look confused, but most shrugged it off. I assume they couldn't care less why I was on the team all of a sudden.

Also, it's quite clear Mr. Jones' apology meant absolutely nothing considering that once we aren't in the presence of Mr. Rankin and he's acting all sexist again.

He tells me that since I'm new I have to run laps and watch practice first so I know what to do. I know he really just doesn't want me to practice with the team, but I comply because I can't wait to see what happens when I explain to Mr. Rankin that I haven't even practiced lacrosse with the team yet.

For the entire practice, I stretch and run laps. Which was boring and horrible, but it'll be worth it. If I don't stop Mr. Jones from being sexist, I'll have to give Mr. Rankin more reasons to fire him.

It'll all be worth it. I hope.

A/N: Heyo readers! So I'm back with another update, sorry that it took so long. I planned to have it out a couple of days ago, but I felt like it was short and I wanted to add more to the chapter before posting so I did. I hope you don't mind.

Also, this book has surpassed 75k reads, which is outstanding and I can't believe it, so thank you so much.

I'm hoping to post more chapters before I go back to school, but we'll see. I don't want to give you empty promises.

Hope you enjoyed <3
