So after everything, the police are bringing Vera in for court. Apparently, Vera tried to lie again, but there was a flaw in it and she was caught. My recording thing ended up working out really well. I'm just hoping she finally gets locked up for everything she's done.
My phone rings and I recognize it as officer Gregory, the officer who has been assigned to Vera's case.
"Hello?" I say once I accept the call.
"Well, it's all over now. She confessed," he says immediately. "We have it all on a recording, so Vera's going to be locked up."
"Really?" I say shocked. "After all she's done to stay out of jail, I would've expected her to keep lying, but this is great news."
I sit down and take a deep breath. After all this, she finally confessed. She's lied, manipulated, and attempted to have people killed. Vera's a sick woman, and she's finally getting what she deserves. My chest feels lighter as I feel relieved. I need to tell Will.
"Has anyone told Will yet? I was actually just about to go see him," I ask standing back up and putting on my shoes quickly.
"We haven't notified him yet, it a little more difficult when he's in his current state. If you would like to tell him, you can, I'll let you go now. I thought you would have wanted to know." Officer Gregory says and I grab my car keys.
"Well thanks, I appreciate it," I say and we hang up.
I lock the house door before I bounce down the driveway and get in my car quickly. Turning on the engine I head towards the hospital.

Walking down the hallway I reach Will's room and I open it to see Will watching tv on a monitor that was placed in the room.
Will turns to me and smiles as I sit down in the chair next to his bed.
"What's up?" he asks me.
"I have news," I say seriously. "Vera confessed. She's gonna be locked up for a long time."
Will freezes when I say her name, but nods when he listens to it all.
"Is it over then?" he asks quietly and I shrug. but nod.
"I guess so," I say.
Will takes a deep breath, not sounding reassured, but relieved as I also felt when I was first told. Will turns away and faces the tv, but it doesn't look like he's focused.
"As much as that's supposed to be good news, I'm still scared," he says extremely quiet.
"Will, it's okay to be scared, after everything you've gone through many would've just given up. You're strong, and it'll pass. This just means that you can live more peacefully," I say hoping that I'm saying the right things. This is some pretty heavy stuff, and he's my best friend. I want to be there for him.
"Thanks," he says. "Can I be alone now?"
I nod and give him a supportive smile before standing up and heading for the door.
"Wait, that's not gonna help. There's something else." He says and I stop before turning back to him.
I stay silent as I wait for him to continue.
"What happens when she gets out? What if she tries to.. hurt me again?" He asks and I feel a pain in my chest as I realize why this might not be good news.
"That won't happen. I'm your best friend, and you have Jake and Josh too. The police will make sure of it too. After she gets locked up, there is no way she's going to get to you. Okay?" I say seriously and he turns to me.
"Thanks, for being my friend and being there for me. I appreciate it. Hopefully, after this is all over, I can finally forget it all," he says and I smile.
"I'll always be your friend, meaning I will always be there for you," I say. "You will never need to worry about her, ever again."
Will smiles.
"I just needed to say that. You answered perfectly, thanks." He says.
I turn around and leave the room and head back to my car.
What an eventful evening.

A/N: Boom. Here's an update xD.
Okay so this is a little more short than my normal updates, but at least I updated. As I said in my previous update, I am pretty stressed out lately because of school and stuff. I got a lot going on and only one person in my life really knows.

That's also why this chapter mainly shows Lexi giving support to Will. Also because Vera is finally getting what she deserves and it makes me so happy.
