{[Brent Fenderson POV]}

We kinda didn't talk we basically just wandered over to the bowl and watched. There was this chick who looked like a pro.

Doing all sorts of kickflips and at the end of doing all her tricks she did a perfect indy grab. She took her floral board in her hand and high fived some guys I recognized as Jake Peritz and Will Barlow.

"She's good" I told Josh. He looked at me and smirked. No idea why he is-Oh. I see the amazing skater chick turn around her hair throwing itself over her shoulder with her movement.

Alexandra Callop.

Alexandra is the amazing skater chick. What else does she have up her sleeve. First she whips my ass in dodgeball and then she's a skater girl (an amazing one may I add).

I look over at Josh and he is smirking and I know exactly why he's smirking. Because he knew that she was a skater. Duh Brent.

Josh heads over to Alexandra and I follow. Her hands stiffen on her board when she see's me. When did I piss her off?

I'm not like most oblivious guys who wouldn't notice that a girl doesn't just randomly stiffen when they see you. Which means I pissed her off.

"Hey Josh, Brent" She says with a forced smile. I can tell whatever I did she isn't happy. "Hey Lexi" Josh says casually. "Sweet moves" I say, hopefully I can pretend that I didn't mean whatever I said to her, or whatever she's mad at me for.

Her gaze softens but remains stiff. "Thanks" she replies with a less forced smile and a small blush. She's cute when she blushes. She blushes with a little bit of puppy eyes.

"I didn't know you skated? But I should have expected it" I say trying to make her anger ease away. "Why should you have expected it?" she asks narrowing her eyes like I'm about to insult her. Which I will never understand.

Okay I guess I can be oblivious at times. Is it obvious? "Well with you being so sporty and all that, well I don't know If your sporty but I know you're good at sports" I say.

Shit. Did I just compliment her, now I sound sappy I need to toughen up a bit. I don't see her to be the type to melt in a compliment. I think she's more into proving that I didn't want to make her mad, instead of finding the easy way out with flattery.

"I guess" I continue hoping she won't think I'm using flattery. Am I babbling? Nah. I only babble when I'm nervous. And I'm not nervous.

I try to see if it worked until she softens up completely and has no more stiffness to her body. "Yeah I'm sporty" she admits.

I knew it. I mean it's unlikely a high heel girl would be sporty, but a girl with casual Uggs and who wear converse most of the time could have the potential to be sporty.

"Ah I'm a good guesser" I smirk

"I guess you could say that" I shrugs but I don't miss the twinge of pink growing on her cheeks. "We're going to get some smoothies, you guys want some?" Will asks.

"Mango for me, and let me guess" I say squinting and pointing to Alexandra. She looks at me curiously. "Strawberry banana?" I say slowly and raising my eyebrows in hope.

By the way her jaw dropped I guessed correctly. She nods looking at me like a wizard. "How did you know?" she asks me while the guys leave us to get the smoothies.

I shrug. "I guess that I'm just a good guesser, I guessed right! I'm a good guesser" I tease.

She wacks me in the chest with the back of her hand chuckling a little bit. "You're also weird" she says smirking. "Why of course, but isn't everyone?" I say returning a smirk.

"Not me" she says. I scrunch up my face teasingly. "You sure?" I ask causing her to punch me lightly in my stomach.

She pulls back her fist and looks at me. "I'm not a good guesser, I didn't know you were strong" she says inspecting her knuckles.

Was that her way of complimenting my abs? I smirk at that thought. When she realizes what she says she turns as pink as bubblegum.

I chuckle at her blushing. I can't help it, she's just too cute when she blushes. Wait did I just call her cute? Well, at least I'm not a liar.

They guys comeback holding smoothies. They hand me my mango smoothie and Alexandra's strawberry banana smoothie.

We all take a big slurp of our smoothies. "What happened while we were gone?" Jake asks.

"We just talked" I answered. Some of the guys tried to secretly raise their eyebrows at each other as if to speak to each other.

I look at Alexandra  and she looks like this is usual. When she catches my eyes she just shrugs as if they do this everyday.

~~~~~~
I grind, then kickflip off a rail. I pick up my blue tie dye skateboard and head over to everyone else. I high five the guys and when I look at Alexandra she holds her hands flat and tilts it side to side as if my tricks were 'okay'.
"I've seen better" she shrugs."Who?" I ask. Who can be a better boarder than me? "Me, duh!" She says giggling a little. I chuckle at her. "Okay" I sing-song. I mean she's good but not better.
"I, Alexandra challenge Brent to a skate off!" Alexandra announces pointing to the sky with her index finger. Others give us a strange look but she doesn't care.
She's confident. Can she get any better? "Challenge accepted!" I announce with as much enthusiasm as her.
We do as many of our tricks that we can. Each trick gives points depending on the trick and how well we did them. Will, Jake, and Josh are all coming up with the points.
When we finish doing all the tricks we know we run back to the guys to see who won. We get there with a smirk. Josh had his phone out to make sure he wouldn't forget any points and then he would add them up.
"Brent, you have... 25 points" Jake says with a smirk. He holds out his hand and I high five him victoriously. But not too much pride because, I hate to say it but Alexandra was good out there.
"Lexi, you have... 27 points. You win!" Jake says. Even though I lost I kinda called it. She was pretty good out there. She jumps up and down like a little kid. Which makes me laugh."Congrats" I say with a nod and a smirk.
For the rest of the night we talk and skate until around 7pm. Then we decide to go home. I mean I arrived there at 4pm so I was there for around 4 hours.
Not once was I bored though. I had fun tonight. I was also really impressed tonight.
