Will was a lot better, which was great. Cyrus has started hanging out with all four of us, and he's kind of part of our group, except he's a bit different than us. He's not that athletic and doesn't exactly play video games, but he still gets along with us.
He sometimes even sneaks by the school and hangs out with us, which is fun. He's a nice guy.
He's already filled out a form to get an out-of-school ticket to our school's homecoming that's just less than a month away. Jake has already asked Destry, which she said yes. Josh doesn't really have a date, but I think he's going with Will and Cyrus as friends.
I'm actually really worried about homecoming though. Brent still hasn't asked me, but I know he will because he's my boyfriend. I'm just not good with dances and being fancy and I don't know what to do.
I stood up from my bed and decided to get ready.
Brent had asked me out on a date tonight and I just know he's asking me to homecoming. I can't handle it.
I still have a couple of hours before Brent picks me up, but he said that we're going to a semi-fancy restaurant, so I need to find an outfit that isn't jeans and a t-shirt.
I already showered, and I've just been sitting here in sweatpants and an old t-shirt looking at my closet. I'm clueless when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Deciding that doing this on my own will not work, I grab my phone and look up good outfits for a date.
Seeing some outfit combinations I try to find something similar in my closet.
I end up finding this dress that my aunt got me one year for my birthday, I never ended up wearing it, but it could work. (Dress above)
I slip on the dress and begin looking through my shoes. I only have sneakers. So that's great.
I could just buy some later, but now for makeup. Which normally I wouldn't wear, but I ran into Destry today who handed me a bag of unused makeup. She specifically told me to wear it for tonight, but she couldn't help me too much because she has to work this afternoon.
I pull out the items that she gave me and read the labels. One was eyeshadow primer, the next was this beige coloured eyeshadow, and the last was mascara.
Te eyeshadow kit had this tiny little padded end for applying the products. So I put on the eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow followed by the mascara just like the YouTube video told me to.
After finishing, I look at myself in the mirror, and it doesn't look half bad.
Brushing through my hair, I grab my sneakers and a jacket and run to the nearest shoe store and quickly buy a pair of black heels. I've walked in heels before for weddings and such, it's not too difficult for me so I know how to walk in them.

After that, all I have to do is wait.
~~~~~~
The doorbell rings and my heart begins racing even more.
I'm home alone, so I don't have to worry about teasing later on, but I grabbed my heels putting them on and opening the door to see Brent also wearing a semi-formal outfit like he said he would.
He looks at me shocked.
"You look... beautiful," he says and my heart melts.
"Awe, don't go all sappy on me now," I joke making him chuckle.
I grab my purse and keys locking the door behind me. Walking down the driveway, Brent opens the car door for me and I step in watching him jog around the car and step in as well.
We start driving, and I feel like I'm about to explode. My heart is still racing, and every now and then I feel my face go pale. Specifically when we go near any restaurants.
Before I know it, Brent pulls into a parking spot and we exit the car.
Brent smiles at me and I smile back despite my nerves. If Brent weren't here I'd probably be more nervous. Brent has a calming effect on me.
He hooks his arms with mine and walks me inside the restaurant.
Brent talks to the man behind the counter, but I don't focus on his words. I focus on him. I notice he's a tad bit quieter than usual, and he moves like a robot. Very still. These aren't common for Brent unless he's nervous.
At least I'm not alone.
The man calls a waiter and she grabs two menus and we follow her to our table.
Sitting down she sets the menus in front of us and says she'll be back for our orders.
Let's see how this goes.
A/N: UPDATE! WHOO! Well, I'm gonna try to work on part two as much as possible to get it out as fast as possible, but I'm wrapping up my school year and getting ready for a lot of things. So we'll see how that goes. I still have school until the 28th of June, joy *sarcasm*
When do you guys get out of school, if you're still in school?
I've worked on this chapter quite a bit, but ended up deciding to split it in half so it's easier to work on it and update, so what do ou think is gonna happen? Will Brent ask Lexi to Homecoming? If so how will he do that? I'm curious to see what you guys think
Not to mention that this book has 57k reads, that's absolutely mind blowing so thank you so much <3
