Chapter 1

This is my first story. Please no hate or bad comments. I want your opinions on whether or not I should continue on it, or do a different story. I promise (and that if the story continues) that itll get really good (hopefully haha).

Lily's POV

I was on my laptop, making sure I didn't have any messages before I went to school. That's when I heard yelling. Probably my brothers. I just don't understand my brothers sometimes. They can be obnoxious sometimes, but then again they are my brothers, and they are the only other family I have besides my father. And I'm talking about my family not my extended family.I'd say my mother but.....

"LILY!" I heard one of my brothers yell for me. That's when all three of my brothers busted through my bedroom door. Andrew, Dante, and Nick had flour, eggs, and sugar all over themselves. My eyes went wide, and I was ready to scream. I could see in my brothers eyes that they were trying to put a "it-wasn't-my-fault" eyes. Then blame it on our dog pug, Maggie. That's when Maggie came in with the same appearance as my brothers. The flour, eggs, and sugar.

"YOU TWO ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!" I yelled on the top of my lungs to Andrew and Dante. I couldn't yell a Nick because the fact he was only six and the youngest. Andrew was the oldest out of the three boys at the age of 8, then Dante was 7 years old.

"Why would you think its OUR faults!" Andrew and Dante said in unison as we all headed out of my room to the hallway.

"You'd really think that a six year old would start all of this?! You should have thought about that when you blamed the dog!" I replied as I saw the trail that they left in the hallway when they came to my room.

When we all got to the kitchen, that's when I was ready to kill them. Maggie ran through my legs, and slid across the floor and rolled in all of the mess. Most of the kitchen was a mess, but there was one part of the kitchen that was actually clean. The table was set and there was actually breakfast. BREAKFAST! I looked at the breakfast then at my brothers. They had the biggest smile across their faces that I've ever seen in a while. I couldn't be mad at them because actually did all of this just for breakfast. I gave my brothers a smile. I was gonna forgive them, but that's when my dad came in.

He was about to scream, but he saw breakfast. So he calmed down. He let out a sigh and then told my brothers to get cleaned up. I didn't have to go to school for another forty-five minutes so I didn't worry about hurrying. After my brothers got cleaned up and so did Maggie, my brothers, dad, and I ate breakfast together. It has been a while since we actually ate a meal together. Since my dad is busy with his two jobs, my brothers have stuff like sports, homework, (like they actually do homework haha) etc. too, and I have stuff for school such as homework, sometimes sports and clubs, etc., it's hard to even sit for like a hour just to see each other. It's been hard.

After breakfast, all of us kids got ready for school. I hurried up getting ready because the fact that I'm in high school. I put on my white graphic tank top with my navy blue hoodie and my sweats. I put on my dark blue and black DC high top shoes. I looked at myself in the mirror. The hoodie was my favorite out of all the other clothes because the hoodie was my mother's.

I said bye to my brothers, my dad, and the pug, then I left to go to school. Since we don't live that far from my high school, I usually just walk to school. I was walking, then my three best friends in the world, Talia, Katy, and Christine. Three out of five of my best friends that I have. Those three are the only ones that live in my neighborhood. That's why I usually just walk with them to school. We just talked the whole way there.

When we got to school grounds, I saw a boy, I think in our grade which is the twelfth grade, he was getting out of a car. With the boy was I guess was his mother. She didn't look like she was even twenty. She looked like she wasn't even an actual mother. She was a knockout. Like my mother... Not to sound all lesbo or anything. She was just really pretty.

All of that left mind as my friends and I met up with my two other, Alexis and Amy. We went to our classes. After about one or two classes, all six of us walked in the hall. That's when I heard yelling and banging against the lockers. The six of us got to the intersection of the hallway. We saw what was going on. Some fight....... The new guy I saw earlier this morning, was on the floor and curled up into a ball. Some football players hovered over him. I was about to just go away. Though, that's something my parents, especially my mom, wouldn't do.

I went straight to the fight. My friends were trying to stop me from going over there, but I went over there anyways. I had to protect the boy. "Yo! Leave him alone!" I yelled at the jocks. The new guy never got up. After what I said, the football players just started to laugh. I didn't think they saw who they were laughing at.

"Says who?" one of them said. I clenched my fists and shoved the guy to the ground. He was startled by what happened. Then I realized it was Jake that I pushed to the ground. The other two jocks were Tyler and Zander.

"Says me!" I answered harshly. When they saw who I was, their faces kinda softened. "You lay a finger on him, you'll wish you had rented a room in the hospital early when I'm done with you three!" they got really scared that they fled from the scene. Everyone in the hallway was staring at me and the boy I just helped.

The boy slowly got up and gathered his books and pencils. I helped him with his supplies.

"T-Thank you......." he stuttered.

"Your welcome," I said. "I'm Lillian, but everyone calls me Lily," I let out my hand. He took it and shook it.

"I'm Noah...." He paused as if he was about to say something else, but he didn't.

"I'll see you around," I said to break the silence. I gave a small smile and left. I went back to my friends. Thy looked at me with a bewildered expression. I just shrugged. I looked back at him and he looked at me.

"Why did you did that?!?" Alexis asked. I shrugged again.

"You know you can't stoop to his kind! He's a nerd!" Amy snapped. We just stood there for a couple of minutes.

"Well, I don't care. You can't just leave someone like that. I don't want anyone else getting hurt by those three douchebags. Besides, he kinda cute....." I admitted awkwardly, but sounding confident in the beginning. I began to blush, and then my friends started to laugh at me. I looked at him again and he looked at me, too. I blushed harder. We left to our next classes.

This was going to be a LONG day.....

But somehow just by meeting that kid, I'm pretty sure something was gonna change around here....
