Chapter 14
Lily's POV
I felt my eyes fluttered open. Rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.

"What the-" I looked over my shoulder. Noah was right there.

I looked over the hill. The sun was arising. It's morning.

Wait. What? What?!

"Noah..." I shook him awake. He wouldn't get up. "Noah," I said a bit louder. "Noah!"

"Huh huh what?" he jot up, but instead hit his head against a branch. He groaned in pain.

I laughed at him, but let out in sympathy instead. "Are you okay?" He rubbed his head and nodded.

I got up, and helped him up as well. We were still wearing the clothes from the other night.

"Have we been here all night?" I said.

He rubbed his eyes and let out a yawn. "I'm guessing. It is already dawn."

"Damn it!" I screamed aloud.

"What's the matter?"

"I'm supposed to be home right now! Just hope my dad doesn't kill me!" Noah's eyes lit up in panic.

"Let's go!" he grabbed my arm and we ran off to his car.

(After the car ride)

We were just outside my house a block away. I had to sneak in back into my house.

We ran to my backyard. Noah tried to help me climb my balcony.

"Give me a boost," I suggested.

I had gotten to my balcony and was able to unlock the door with my key on my bracelet.

My phone starts to ring.

It is Noah.

"I'm sorry I lost track of time," Noah apologized.

"It's okay. It's my fault. I've got to go. My dad is going to freak out."

"Okay. I'll see you later okay?"

I agreed on it and we both hung up.

I quickly switched into sweats and t-shirt. Putting my hair into a messy bun. Washing off the make-up. Trying my best to put my dress away.

I heard my door swing open...

"Hey, sweetie," my dad says.

I felt guilt filling my lungs. It was killing me.

"How was last night?" he asked.

"Amazing..." I said a bit more excited than I thought.

"Where were you last night?"

Uh oh...

"The dance of course..."

"It ended at ten right?"

I nodded.

"How come you weren't home by then?"

Gulp.

"I checked to see if you were okay after I came home from seeing your grandmother at around twelve. You weren't there. I checked again at three. Still not there. "
