Chapter 2

A/N: I'm not sure how I did, but here's the second chapter. Please tell me what you think. I'd really appreciate it. Sorry for any grammar mistakes or any other mistakes.

Chapter 2
Lily's POV

My next class was biology. When my friends and I entered the classroom. Everyone was standing against the walls. Our biology teacher, Ms. Perry, was assigning seats for all of us.... Again.... Anyways, Ms. Perry was making sure we had different partners this time. Which meant none of my friends would be together this time. Hopefully. We make sure we're not partners so we could end up being partners.

After about like ten minutes of our lives, everyone was seating at a table. Except for me. There was the middle table. On each side my friends were there. Which gave me hope we wouldn't be far apart, but I didn't have a partner. Ms. Perry had me sit at the unoccupied table. "Don't worry about being alone. We have another student coming," Ms. Perry reassured me.

Suddenly the one guy I knew would be my partner, came in. Noah. I was stunned that he'd be in my class. "Of course..." I muttered.

"Everyone this is Noah Hayes. Noah, you'll be sitting next to Lily Ashford over there," Ms. Perry pointed to where I was. I raised my hand a bit. I looked at all my friends. They all snickered and giggled. Man, were they going to be in so much trouble.

Noah made his way over to where I was. I looked around, and everyone was staring at me. It made things uncomfortable, but I didn't wanna show it since Noah was here. When he sat down, he set out all of his stuff he had for biology. He looked at me and smiled. Of course I smiled back, however all my friends started to tease me about it.

"Hi..." I said awkwardly. He didn't say anything which made things more awkwarder.

"Okay," Ms. Perry announced, "when I assigned you guys to these certain tables, I assigned you're partners. So the person you're seating with is you're partner. " I hope I heard her correctly because I'm pretty sure I just got partnered with the new kid.... "You two will make a project about anything we learned about this week. As for Noah, since you are new, you and Lily can do a project on whatever you two would like. The project will be 65% of your grade and will be due two weeks and a half from now..." she went on and on about what we needed to do. I was fully aware of this already when she told me this morning passing by her classroom.

After class, I saw Noah left the classroom. I raced past everyone just to get to him. I grabbed his arm to get his attention. He turned around and he was about to run, but got a hold of himself. "C-Can I help you.....?" he stammered.

"I was going to ask if you'd like to come over my house so we could start working on our project?" I asked him. "And sorry for grabbing your arm. I was trying to get your attention over all the commotion in the classroom and the hallway."

"It's okay," Noah began to say. "and that's fine...."

He was about to leave again, however I snatched his hand instead. I apologized again. He blushed, which made me blush. He kinda looked adorable blushing especially with his glasses on..... "Do you wanna have lunch with me? You don't have to. But if you wanted to...." I hesitated. He agreed. I let out a sigh of relief because it was getting really awkward.

My friends went up to me. Noah left, but glanced at me and mouthed a "thank you." I gave a small smile. I looked at my friends. They all had that surprised look in their faces and eyes. I knew they heard what I said to Noah about lunch. I explained to them about everything, though they didn't like the idea of Noah having lunch with us. I didn't care because I didn't care what other people thought. But I thought about the idea, and I realized that I just invited the new guy that got nearly beat up by Jake, Tyler, and Zander..... Well lunch should be interesting.........
