Chapter 41

Lily's POV

My eyes blinked open. With the sun light peeking through the window. I tried to reach for Noah, but I didn't feel Noah. I sat llup slowly with my mind finally telling my body to get up. There were a few people on my floor. Noah's sisters, my brothers, and Maggie.

Noah was no where to be seen. My body still healing from all the medicine and laying down I have taken in the hospital since Friday and finally leaving Sunday since my dad wasn't able to take me home, and my dad took Noah's car to get home.

My body tried to gather some energy to get up. I grabbed my phone, tied my hair into a messy bun, and went down stairs. It wasn't even 6:00 yet, yet the sun was shining through the window.

My dad had slept on the couch with papers surrounding him. He was fast asleep snoring softly. I was just about to enter the kitchen when I saw just near the doorway was a bunch of book bags, duffle bags, shoes, etc.

I suddenly smelt the smell of somewhat burnt toast, eggs, bacon, etc. I walked into the kitchen finding Noah setting the table for ten, including Maggie.

"Lily!" he cried. He sprinted and picked me into his arms holding me tight. There wasn't one hug that Noah gave me that he hasn't held me tight.

"Why are you so excited to see me?" I chuckled.

"Because I've been so worried about you, Lily!" he exclaimed. He held me tighter than before. I just shrugged it off, as Noah sat me down.

I could tell our siblings could smell the food from upstairs because they raced down to the kitchen. Megan, Sara, Faith, Drew, Dante, and Nick had say down quickly. Maggie just right behind them. My dad had slowly walked in.

"Good morning!!" Nick exclaimed.

Everyone gave a big smile back. No one bothered to a show a single frown that whole time.

At least not until my dad asked, "Are you going to school, Lily?" There was so much concern in his voice it showed. I stared at him.

Was I going to school today? Noah had told me everyone had found out somehow. The gang had not told anyone.

I had to face everyone. I kinda had to eventually......

Woo dee frigging doo...

I'm not going to wait....I'm going.

"Yeah..." I eventually answered. Everyone looked at me, but didn't bother to stare.

I walked into school with Noah. There were so many people in the hallway. Everywhere I went, many pairs of eyes were staring at me.

I didn't bother to say anything about it. I turned the hallway to get to my locker and I found Chrissy, Talia, Katy, Kiera, Reily, Jordan, Ian, Oliver, Alexis, and Amy standing at my locker.

Amy's expression made it look like she was going to cry, but I didn't want to ask.

"Lily!" they exclaimed. The girls literally grabbed me into a big group hug without warning. The hug had gotten tighter by the second and I could barely breathe.

"Guys! Put me down! Jeez!" I cried. As they finally put me down, the guys had welcomed me back.

As of everyone else at school, they looked at me and just walked away. GiGi was no where to be seen. I had a lump in my throat, my heart was racing, my body aching and raging with fear.

I thought everything was okay....

At least not until lunch happened...

So basically...I walked in. There were many people on their phones barely even talking yet still making it really loud in the cafeteria. It got all silent when I got in. I literally just opened the door, and everyone shut up, and looked in my direction...like am I wearing a "Slap me in the face!" hat?
