Chapter 45

Lily's POV
My heart raced with fear inside my cold sweated and paled body. I wasn't sure what to do...

"Please be seated Ms. Ashford," Ms. Crabgrass had said.

I sat on the far end of the four seats given. In the first seat was Tiffany, then Alexis, then Katy, then myself. Katy was in tears, Alexis furious as ever, Tiffany with that smirk, (I bet her smirk was permanently planted onto her face when she was born) and me on the verge of tears.

"Now I know you guys are graduating and I don't really want to punish any of you, but you guys have to face the consequences..." Ms. Crabgrass had began to say. "And I know it would be wrong to suspend you girls...because I know you guys are good girls and I wouldn't want to do anything to your permanent record..."

"BUT I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Alexis and Tiffany yelled in unison. They stood up fast causing their chairs fly backwards nearly denting the wall behind them. Katy flinched instantly.
I tried my best not to cry. I tried my best to keep everything in. I knew it wasnt going to last...

"Please girls...the only punishment I have to give at the moment is you work with the support group that's at the hospital in town..." Ms. Crabgrass had declared.

If I heard that correctly, then she said "work with the support group..."

"You'd be working with the support group that call themselves the 'Warriors' I believe..." Ms. Crabgrass start looking through her papers to make sure.

Wait...my support group...

I couldn't believe what I was hearing...this couldn't be happening...And I thought things would've gotten better...

I was wrong...

"You'll start after school...just basically make some friends...that's all...please girls I given out enough detentions, suspensions, and other punishments...I don't need to give out anymore..." Ms. Crabgrass sighed. "Can we agree of this?"

All of us nodded. I was about to break into sweat...can't wait for support group...

*sigh*

Later After School (Support Group)

"We have a few people who had volunteered to come in and be with us and you guys could possibly make some friends in the process..." Scott had announced to all of the support groups.

Not all of them volunteered...

To those that did volunteer...they were: Noah, Kiera, Chrissy, Jordan, Reily, Ian, Oliver, GiGi, Sammie, (best friend from soccer) Jill, (my friend from volleyball) Vivian, ( a friend of mine from Honors English class) a few girls and guys from the soccer team, the captain of the lacrosse team, and a few others. Sara, Faith, and Nick and volunteered as well. Not that many people had come to volunteer.

"You guys can pick whoever you like to partner with for this session," Scott had said.

Everyone had split up, but sat in the circle. There were enough people to be either partnered up or have a group of three or four. Dylan and Nick had partnered up. Noah and went straight for me. At least not until Scott said behind his back.

"Noah even with my back turned I know you partnered with Lily...switch..." Scott said. Everyone bursted into laughter. Noah's face bright red. He looked down and walked away in shame jokingly.
