Noah's POV
"Grab the sodas from the car and bring em in," I heard a voice call out."I got it, I responded. Everyone was running errands.
Dylan put black lights everywhere. Talia, Katy, and Amy put up decorations. Chrissy and Oliver put snacks according to food name in alphabeticalーrequested because of Lily. Lily's brothers were helping Dylan with the black lights. I was in charge of bringing them to their grandparents' house.
I raced to Lily's car to get all the sodas in the trunk. Everyone was everywhere. Running in and out of the house.
Right after all the sodas were put into kitchen I heard a sweet female voice call me.
"Noah," she said. I turned and saw Lily. She wore my blue and black flannel with a black crop top underneath with dark washed shorts and black Vans. Her dirty blonde, more brunette than a few months ago, was tied into a high ponytail. "Babe come sit here...come sit next to me..."
She sat on the hood of the car. She grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the car. "Do you think it's crazy to think that we graduated? Do you think it's crazy that months from now we're going to college? Do you think it's crazy that just a few months ago we were just two strangers? Do you-"
I cut her off, and said, "Babe stop. You look like you are going to cry. Hey do not worry it will be okay. Honestly I do not think it's crazy that we just graduated. I do not think it's crazy that months from now we are going to be in college. I do not find it the slightest crazy that we used to be strangers. To me it's like here we are now and we are not going to let anything and I mean anything get in the way of what we do with our life now. Now how about we go finish preparing the place before we start crying?"
Lily just nodded in agreement and we headed back inside. I held her hand tightly like something was going to tear us apart. I looked at her because she was everything to me.

Many people filed into the place. People from the football team (that we tolerated of course), soccer team, Honors Society, Yearbook Club, etc. Music blared throughout the house. As people people filed in. Everyone took a glow stick bracelet. Green for "Single". Yellow for "It's Complicated". And red for "Taken".
We all thought it would be a way to have people like the football players interact with some of the nerds for example. And to be honest it actually worked. Everyone seemed so happy. The room was filled with glow in the dark paint, bracelets, etc. Music blared from every inch of the house. Red solo cups on the coffee table, stairs, chairs, counters, everywhere you could possibly imagine.
I tried being social by playing all those shitty party games like Spin-The-Bottle, Truth or Dare, etc. Did not end to good when Dylan had to kiss Lily. I eventually left the living room, and into the kitchen to breathe a bit. I drank a bit of soda until I saw Dylan walked into the kitchen with red lipstick all over his face. His face was pale as it could ever been.
I spat out my drink all over the kitchen creating a mist of soda. "What the hell happened to you?" I laughed until it hurt. My stomach started to pain me after laughing to hard.
"Let's just say I ended up playing 7 Minutes in Heaven with a girl from the cheerleading squad and damn the girl is feisty. "
"Did you at least like it?" I questioned.
"I do not want to contribute to that question...Dude, the girl was acting like a stripper and pole dancer combined. I felt more scared than, um, what is the word, um, pleased," he described it.
