Noah's POV
"What do you mean...?" My voice cracked a bit. I clenched my fists. I could hear too many voices screaming in my head.

"Go..." A feminine voice told me. I turned and saw Lily's slowly let go. "You need to go, Noah."

Lily let go and started to walk away. My aunt basically dragged me out without warning. Everyone was in. Lily vanished in the sea of people. And then I couldn't see her no more.

Turns out my mom just had fainted. I don't know what the hell was low, but apparently it was dangerously low. When I went to see my mother, all I saw were bloodshot eyes staring at the ceiling. The sounds of machines running, clicking of the remotes, etc. My sisters were at school and weren't allowed to come out because of some tests.

"Mom," I managed to even whisper. I slowly grasped her hand as I sat next to her bed.

"Sweetie. I thought you were with Lily?" She asked.

"But...but..." I looked at my aunt with a questioning look. "She said that we had to be here..."

"I told you to keep him at school!" My mom began to yell.

"Who the hell was suppose to visit you?! I can't get the girls out! You know that! You needed your boy to visit you!" Aunt Layla nearly exclaimed.

My mom flinched as she used every ounce of energy she had to get up. "You know what happened to Lily's family. He has to be there for her! She has nobody and now you drag him away from her!"

My aunt-

Let me explain something. Before I even continue with this horrifying story....

About around January my aunt had come to stay with us. Her husband had left her with her being impregnate. She had to give up the baby to her and my mom's other sister who had trouble having any babies because of health issues. Anyways, back to Aunt Layla. She lost everything. She became so controlling and unbelievable. She judged everything my mom did.

You see my mom, Aunt Layla, their sister, Aunt Victoria, and their brother, Uncle Vic never really got along. Specially with what my mom gone through, and when their mother, my grandmother, had passed away five years after my mom was born. My moms the youngest, then Uncle Vic, then Aunt Victoria, and Aunt Layla being the oldest. They always fought which made it hard for my grandfather because he was always such a nice man.

The thing about Aunt Layla and my mom they were the worst. They never got along. They fought over boys, money, clothes, and the worst part the will my grandparents left for the four of them. When Aunt Layla had showed up at our doorstep heartbroken, she made my family and I believe she changed. When really she was getting worst. She was taking control of the will and was trying to get everyone to fight.

And it worked.

My mom has been so stressed that she always took off. My mom's work were trying to get her to stop working for a while because they knew her situation. She barely even came home anymore because when she comes home her and Aunt Layla always argue and argue. I had always had to shelter my sisters from everything.

That's all you need to know...

My aunt began to scream and shout at my mom. "Shut the hell up. You never knew anything. Your boy has to be there for you!"

"He has to be there for Lily!" My mom screamed.

A long time ago when around the time Adelyn was part of my life, Aunt Layla and my mom were fighting around that time. My mom was dealing with really big issues, and my aunt had screamed at her. Everything just felt like a horror movie. I had to back up from everything because things got to much.
