Chapter Seven- Shit. 'Im pregnant'

I just hopelessly stare at the test for about 5 minutes

I feel sick and disgusted. I decide to text Todd even though our relationship is sturdy at the moment.

To Todd <3 from Laura:

Hey Todd I have some bad news, it's quite serious and I think it would be better to talk about it not via technology, text back ASAP. Love Laura xx

I put my phone in my pocket and I start to head downstairs until a common vibration continuously rings in my pocket

I stall on the stairs and read the text from Todd as my heart skips beats with confusion

From Todd to Laura:

Yeah sure babe, come over I'm home alone. This time it will be serious ;)

What the? Okay is this a suductive text or something?!

I roll my eyes and continue to head downstairs until my thoughts keep racing through my mind

I haven't had a good night since the break, I haven't had fun in ages. Maybe he had planned for a romantic night not just sex.

I grab my bag heading out the door making sure Mother hasn't returned home which is strange but all I need right now is to face her...

I arrive at Todd's spot on at 4.25 and nervously I head for the door

I knock on the door and seconds later Todd dressed in a robe opens the door.

'Uhh, hi?' What why is he in a robe 'Am I interrupting something, I did call'

Todd's interrupted by my phone ringing. I see the screen of my iPhone and its mother. She never calls me unless its an emergency it's always a text

'Sorry, I have to take this call its my mother' he nods as I slide to answer

'Hi.. Mum..'

'Laura Melow this is not your mother. I am an emergency paramedic. Your Mother has just been in an accident . A life threatening car accident'
