It won't ever burn,
unkindled the flame.
They wont ever learn,
unknown is my name.
Trapped in the shadows,
I can't make a spark.
Alone no one knows,
who's here in the dark.
So much potential I can't use,
trying so I might.
There's no way to light the fuse,
never to ignite.
Authors note: today's poem was inspired by Lucas kings 'unkindled' an original composition. I really enjoyed it. :) Unkindled is a world that makes me think of unused potential something that could light if only it had a chance, the spark it needs to become so much more.
