Under the star's light,
I dance on water in my gown.
As I wake I would surely drown,
but not here tonight.
The dreams take me away,
as if by some magic.
at times it feels tragic,
waking up everyday.
Just so hard to stay awake,
sand still in my eyes.
As I'm forced to rise,
in my chest there is an ache.
Farther and farther I sink,
under waking moments weight.
Between life and dreams my fate,
standing on the waters brink.
