Sitting upon the sea shore's sand,
tides lapping on the edge of land,
breeze cooling a day that was hotter,
colors reflecting on the water.
In awe I know I'll never forget
radiance that shone at the sunset.
Remembered as a painting divine,
a bright moment in this life of mine.
How it lit up my eyes,
the sun leaving the skies,
though it hasn't left me,
time I spent at the sea.
