Laying down fast asleep,
startled by a piercing beep,
wakened from the deep.
telling me it's time to rise,
to face life with open eyes.

Authors note: When reading this poem aloud do the beeps loud and metallic like an alarm clock. I kept laughing when I did that XD startles some people so you may have to give a warning (or not :P). this fun little poem was inspired by @lovepearl622 the first person I have ever seen write about an alarm clock!
