There's pain in life sorry you had to know,
but daughter it's best to just let it go.
Please try to remember the good times in life,
as you keep on going burdened with the strife.
The obstacles in life are meant to weigh you down,
to turn joys you have felt into a frown.
My sweet dear don't let them do that to you,
