Colors blaze in the sky,
upon the tree tops high.
Orange, yellow and red,
displayed above my head.
The colors fiery,
burn before me,
falling through the air,
dancing everywhere.
Beauty to my eye,
as the bright leaves fly,
though once fallen down,
they turn shades of brown.
On that brisk bleak autumn day,
it shows the back drop of grey,
seeming so clear,
winter is near.
