Unraveled

11 2 1

They stole my identity,

I'm no longer even me.

Slowly I came undone,

unraveled I am no one.

It's hard to confess,

I feel so much less.

Only a shadow to be shown,

who I once was barely known.

No body and no name,

can't ever be the same.

A whisper of a memory,

is all that I can ever be.

Authors note : Today's poem was based off of a series I loved when I was younger. If you want to guess here's a hint ! :P (even though if you read the books you'd see the similarities lol) all the titles in this 4 book series (5 if you count a certain short story) have the same prefix as my title. It's honestly a really good story if you don't want to guess I'll happily tell you if you want to read it. :) Hope you enjoyed this poem! Thank you for everything.
