( King Laurent )

When morning came, I went to knock on Jasmines door to see if perhaps I could convince her to hear me out, to give me one more chance. But the more I knocked and the longer I waited, sadness begin to fill every pore of my body. My heart already told me she was gone but my mind refused to register it.  I wandered down to the hotel lobby, lagging in my every step.
The receptionist from the night before was on duty still and when she noticed me, a sour look overtook her face. I was really getting tired of all these moody women.

King Laurent: "Did my friend happen to check out this morning?" The receptionist rolled her eyes and I felt a slight prick in my pride.
"Yes she did, your Highness. She said to tell you that your wife said goodbye. I personally think you can do better my Liege."
I was silent. My glare was deadly and I felt a slight snapping on my mind.

King Laurent: "What is your name?"  When I asked her, I added a little flirty tone to my voice. Her reddening cheeks fit her color.

"It is Nina, Your Majesty."

King Laurent: "And tell me Nina, what is the name of this hotel?" Confusion now overtook blushing on her face.

Nina: "It is called Hotel Bourgeois Your Majesty."

King Laurent: "Good girl, now what is my name?"

Nina confused tone spoke
Nina: "it is King Laurent Bourgeois." Then realization dawned on her face and horror spread across her lovely features.

King Laurent: "I do not take people speaking down on the woman I love very well miss Nina and as of today because of your insubordination and blatant disrespect of your future Queen, you are dismissed. From any job pertaining to my name. Have a nice day miss Nina." I left the girl with her mouth gaped open and tears falling from her eyes. There would be much more of that soon. I had to take care of some things here in London before I could head back to Parisih and then, I would start in getting my Queen back.

( A day later )
( Day 41 )

I stepped out of the boat on to the docks of Parisih and could see my twin in the distance. Before I could even reach him, my legs buckled out and I fell to the ground, a chiming childish laughter ringing out. I stared at the little creature and gathered her up in my arms, tickling her until she begged for me to stop.

Liloh: "Okay okay oncle Lau Lau, I'm sowwy. Stop, please." She laughed and I released her and she scampered off to her grandmother. Wait, her grandmother? I looked into the eyes of the beast once again and fear gripped my heart. The ferocious mother. Larry came and helped me up, a sympathetic look on his face.

King Larry: "Sorry Lau, mom said she needed to speak with Jasmine and I told her you guys return this morning. Where is she?"
I looked down at my shoes and mumbled. I felt soft hands lift my chin and I was fooled, for it was no gentle touch but a disguised devastation.

Lidia: "I'm sorry, what was that my dear son?" I sighed and walked over to the edge of the dock, watching the sea flow.

King Laurent: "She is in London mom, she decided to stay and I was the one at fault. I had a chance and I blew it, she wants to be free from all of my bullshit." The hurt in my words were so evident and I could hear a hiss from Larry, he was not happy with me. I felt a push and couldn't stop myself from free falling into the water. I swam up to the top and gasped for air as I saw my mothers angry face come into my vision as the water fell from my eyes.
