<Natasha's POV>
"Totoo ba?" tanong ni Rea. Nasa kuwarto ko siya ngayon at tinatapos ang aming research paper.
"Huh?"
"Na nag-di-date na kayo ng childhood friend mong si Vincent?"
"A-ano??!!!" bulalas ko.
Bigla na lang siyang tumawa ng malakas.
"Calm down. Hinuhuli lang kita. Masyado ka naman obvious" she giggled.
"It's not funny"
"Woahh! What's with the serious look?" she teased.
"Stop it, Rea. It's not what you think"
"So, it's him, right? Kung bakit parang wala ka sa sarili mo these past few days?"
I sighed. She's always like that. Sticking her nose in other people's business.
"Fine. It's him and Ashley."
"Oh? Bakit nasama yung kutong lupa na iyon?" inis niyang sabi.
Natawa naman ako ng mahina. She's still bitter dahil dun sa chismis about Ashley and Anthony. Well, I know he likes Anthony after niyang mapanood yung laro nito ng basketball.
"Gusto mo bang ikaw muna ang mag-share sa akin?"
"Huwag ako, Natasha! Ano ba yung tungkol sa dalawa?"
"Well, he's still insisting his feelings even I already turned him down"
Napansin ko ang pag-seryoso ng kanyang mukha.
"What?" I asked.
"I know you are a witch, pero alam mo, malaki pa rin palaisipan sa akin kung bakit ayaw mo bigyan ng chance si Vince na manligaw sayo. Iilan na lang kaya ang mga lalaking tulad niya. Yung kayang maghintay para sa taong mahal niya ..."
"It's all in the past. In-love siya sa dating ako, sa batang nakilala niya noon. It's useless to give him a chance if the person he waited for so long is already gone. I'm just being fair to him"
"Tell me, yan lang ba talaga ang rason mo? Wanting all things happened in the past must be remained in the past? Or you just don't want to deal anything that is related or makes you remember your past?"
I got this nostalgic feeling hearing those words from her.
She's partly right. Hindi sa hindi ko gusto si Vincent, but there are memories with him that brought me back to my past. Hindi ko lang gusto maalala ulit. But then, I don't want to open it to anyone, even to Rea.
"you're just overthinking. I'm not interested at him, that's all"
She sighs.
"Okay. Sabi mo eh. So, what's about Ashley? Bakit nadamay siya rito" pag-iiba niya.
"Uhmmm... w-well, She told me last time that she'll make Vincent fall in love with her" I said.
Natahimik siya ng ilang segundo.
"T-tama b-ba pagkakarinig ko? Si Ashley may gusto kay Vincent? So, w-walang katotohanan na sila ni Anthony?!"
"Maybe. 'Cause she's really into Vincent"
"That's the good news!" she shouted.
Naiiling na lang ako sa reaction niya. Ganito siguro yung mukha ng nanalo sa lotto.
