Better off dead

I plug in my ear phones and shove them into my ears, making them sore for a moment.

I cross my arms and frown angrliy.

'It's against the law to do as you asked'. Stupid doctors, I tell myself like someone was listening to my very own thoughts in my head.

Just because it's against the law doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Criminals don't follow the law.

Then all of a sudden my hospital door flings open I pull out my earphones, Doctor Hannah Colin is back.

Back with another person.

Who doesn't look like a Doctor, he's not wearing scrubs and he doesn't have a stethoscope.

Rather, he is wearing a navy short sleeved t-shirt, and a pair of denim skinny jeans.

May I be the first person say that because he has a tight navy t-shirt on he may have a 6 pack. And also he has beautiful hazel colored eyes, with an amazing, I mean AMAZING, jawline in the entire world. He is like a god! I'm sure.

"Hi Jessy," says Doctor Hannah interrupting my trail of thought. "This is Doctor Zac Clark, he is a psychiatrist who specializes in grief."

Why does that name ring a loud bell? Zac Clark. Zac Clark. Who is Zac Clark?

Ok bell, you can stop now!

I remember.

Zac is a year and a half older then me. You see about 3 years ago I went to this year 11 leaving party, because Zac was leaving. And Zac asked me to come. Because Zac was my boyfriend.

He broke up with me at that party.

Tragic isn't the right word for 2 reasons. Reason 1, I've always had a sort of crush on Luke so I knew it wouldn't hurt when Zac broke up with me. And 2, it was on April 28th, the party/ break up. On that same day. Well more like night, a massive train accident happened. One which killed the president and Jade's girlfriend.

So for those two reasons, I don't remember Zac much. The train accident was more dramatic then a break up.

I snap back into reality, seeing Zac looking stunned.

It must have been only a brief few seconds I zoned out for, coz no one seems to have said anything or looking at me as if I need to answer a question.

I nod for no reason then break the silence.

"Doctor Zac Clark, hey." I say curling my hair round my finger. "Gotta a ring to it." I frown considerably, thinking about my last sentence. "On second thought it REALLY DOESN'T have a ring to it." I stare intensely at him.

Then after a few seconds noise once again.

"I see you made it to college?" Zac says reminding me of his deep voice.

"And I see you became a psychiatrist, like you wanted." I say with a rather strange evil ring to that sentence.

"Yes, I did."

"I see, you two already know each other." Doctor Hannah says stopping us from our evil stare war going on.

"Just a little." Zac says with a little smile and nod towards Hannah.

"A little. Geez now I understand." I sit up, with Zac's angry facial expression being directed at me.
"I mean, our relationship only lasted 2 years in which, if I remember clearly, I lost my virginity to you. Umm.... Yeah just a little." I look at Doctor Hannah.

"I see, well play safe." She says heading towards the door.

"Oh Doctor Hannah, umm... Just to let you know. You don't always have to follow the law, criminals don't follow it." I say with a smirk.

"Ha nice try Jessy but criminals break the law, there's a difference." She snaps.

"Yeah and that difference is you're not a criminal, you don't break the law, you merely don't follow it. Just do as I ask." I say.

"That's what Zac's here for, to help you figure a way to get your head round the fact that I won't help you die." With that she swings the door open and leaves.

"Wait no!" I cry. "I don't need help, I'm better off dead anyway." But it was too late. She was gone.
