Chapter 19

Natsu's Pov.

I grabbed Lucy's arm and hurriedly pulled her along to the huge cherry blossom tree we used to hang out at.

"It's so pretty!" Luce says in awe.

"I know right!" I give her my signature grin.

She stares intently at me for a moment and then backs away.

"How do I know that grin!" She says.

"Erza even said that I knew you but how? I never even met you before!"

"Or at least I think... Why does it seem like I know you!" She continues until Natsu cuts her off.

"Luce," he begins but sees the expression on her face, showing she forgot her nickname.

"I mean... Lucy give me a minute, I'll try to explain just please calm down." He pleads.

"How do I calm down when I feel empty like a part of me is missing and you're causing me to feel this way. There's something about you and I wanna know now!" She demands close to tears.

"Your name Natsu, I feel like I've known you, why. You must've been important to me but it's racking my brain because I don't know how."

She starts to cry and before I can start to say something a voice interrupts me.

"Hey Natsu!" Lisanna says.

She then turned her eyes to Lucy.

"Hey, you must be Lu-..." I cut her off.

"Lisanna please leave this isn't the time!" I complain.

She ignores me. She turns her attention back to Lucy and grabs her by the hand.

"Well you may know already my name because Natsu just said it. I'm mirajanes sister. Let's hang out!" She told her.

Then, before I can say anything else, Lisanna drags her away from me. Lucy looked back once over at me before disappearing as she caught me glare at lisanna. What the hell is Lisanna trying to do, I thought.

Lucy's Pov.

Natsu was about to answer this question for me when this girl with short white hair ran over to us.

"Hey Natsu!" She said cheerfully.

She then turned to me and gave me a quick grimace before turning it into a smile. What's her problem... I thought.

"Hey, you must be Lu-..." She started but Natsu cut her off.

"Lisanna please leave this isn't the time!" He whined.

I was about to agree because I wanted to know who Natsu was but the girl introduced herself to me and then before anyone could say anything, she dragged me along with her. I looked behind to see Natsu one more time but he glared. Was that at me? What did I do, I wondered.

After a while we ended up under this bridge in the town.

"Umm las- Ana, right?" I asked.

"No LI-SanNa!", She Corrected scoffing.

What does this girl have against me. I barely know her.

"Umm I'm sorry Lisanna, just where are we? Why are we here."

"I just wanted to get to know you better. I think it's peaceful here but I wanna warn you about that boy Natsu." She said blankly.

My eyes widened. Maybe she could help me. She probably knows him really well. I gave her a small smile.

"Oh really! That'd be great, he gives me this weird feeling in my heart and even though, it seems I met him just today, I feel like I've known him longer but forgot. Could you help me?" I asked.

Her smile faded. It seemed she was mad but then covered it up with s sympathetic smile.

"Oh honey! You see, Natsu is the who cleared your memories of you because he had killed your mother." Lisanna said shedding a quick tear.
