In just one week, I had done too many interviews to keep count of. All of them consisted of my comeback and what was to come. It only made me more excited to release my album. My fans still existed and they seemed more supportive than ever.
All I had done this week was work work work. I didn't get to spend much time with Roy, making me feel guilty. I hated being away from her so much. But I knew I couldn't bring her around with me to these interviews. Harry had warned me.
Harry...
The kiss...
I hadn't spoken to him him since that night. Not on purpose, but because we were too busy. I was busy talking about my comeback album and Harry was busy promoting his new album as well. I caught myself wanting to text him in order to hear from him but I stopped myself. I was stronger than this. I became my own person without him. So why did I feel like I was falling into my same old patterns with him?
I could hear the music pounding as my driver drove closer to the club Liam told me about. It was his birthday today so we all decided we'd celebrate. Since Liam had been living with me in England, he had lots of friends who still hadn't seen him since he'd come back. He decided that throwing this part at this club was the best idea.
The driver stopped in front of the club. Before he could open the door for me I could already see the paparazzi with their cameras pointing at my car. I took a deep breath preparing for the frenzy. Ever since I announced my comeback, they haven't left me alone. Every where I went, they followed. I was scary at times. It reminded me of when I first started with All Oblivion. It was chaos.
My drivers opened the car door for me and gave me a hand, helping me get out of the car. The flashes started blinding me completely. I couldn't even open my eyes. I think the driver noticed because he started walking me towards the entrance of the club.
" thank you" I whispered to him as I walked past the bouncers leaving him behind.
The club was packed, but I quickly saw where Liam was having his private party.
" you're finally here!" Liam smiled as I walked to him.
" I wanted to put Roy to sleep" I smiled back.
" good" he said as he handed me a drink.
I took the drink and looked back up at him.
" now it's time for you to be a normal twenty-five year old and have some fun for a night" he laughed.
I smiled as I took a sip of my drink knowing he was completely right. So that was exactly what I did. I had fun with all of Liam's friends. We drank, we laughed, we had fun.
This was exactly what I needed. Something to take my mind off of everything going on in my mind. The guilt of not being able to be with Roy as much. The thought of Harry and not knowing what was going to happen. The worry of not knowing if my career was going to relaunch.
As I'm talking to one of Liam's old friend, I see a familiar face in the corner of my eyes. I look over and see who it actually is.
Lia James.
It had been years since I saw her last. Lia still looked gorgeous. Her long blonde hair accented her olive skin tone perfectly. She hadn't aged a bit. Her smile was still polite. Her manners were still calm. Looking at her, I couldn't imagine her cheating on Harry. Then again, maybe that was she revenge.
Before I knew it, she looked over catching me staring at her. I looked back towards Liam's fried hoping she'd pretend nothing ever happened. I didn't want her to feel like she had an obligation to speak to me. I didn't want to talk to her at all. I didn't hate Lia, I never did. We were just two girl in love with the same guy. I just didn't know what to say to her if she ever did come up to me.
