Aphmau awoken to the sounds of O'khasis guards talking loudly.

"Shit." She mumbled to herself before getting up and grabbing her things.  She had totally forgot that they would come.

She threw on her royal blue and gold cloak and slid her backpack onto her shoulder quickly.

A swift motion of her hand made her invisible.  She smirked, and walked through the doors.  One of them were left open, which made her job of escaping a lot easier.

She walked past the guards and out of the guild as fast as she could.

That was close... She thought to herself wiping the sweat off of her forehead.  Aphmau kept her cloak on and continued to run.

Her breathing suddenly became heavy, her sword in hand.  She needed to get to someplace hidden.

She started to run into the enchanted forest.  Whoever would chase her would get lost.  Aphamu was one of the few people who knew their way around the cursed forest.

She had made really good friends with the witch who takes care of it, Hyria.  She had told her that she was always welcome and that she looked exactly like her.

Aphamu was always confused about the 'her' part of the conversation.

Who was her? She thought to herself.  She was interrupted by someone.

"Why are you so close to O'khasis?" A feminine voice asked.

Aphamu gripped onto her sword, the voice seemed too familiar.

She turned around and saw her powdered blue best friend. "Hello to you too, Katelyn." Aphmau said giving a weak smile.

"How's being the most wanted fugitive?" Katelyn asked resting her weight, crossing her arms.

She bobbed her head from one side to the other. "Not as bad as it seems."

Katelyn scoffed at the stupid remark. She was disappointed in her friend. She doesn't know what had happened to her.  She never had been like this until her mothers death.

"Don't scoff at me, you're wanted for betraying the high priest of O'khasis. You're the wanted person from the jury..." Aphamu said quietly.

"So I should be asking you. Why are you so close to O'khasis?" Aphmau imitated her sassy stance and smirked.

"Aphmau you know you can be a really big bitch, you know that?" Katelyn said, slightly annoyed.

Aphmau laughed. "I've missed you," She opened her arms. Katelyn gladly took the invitation.

Katelyn is a great friend of Aphmau's.  She had helped her with many things.

"Why are you so close to here?"

Katelyn sighed.  "I'm here because I had nowhere else to go." The answer was partially true.  Aphmau could tell and kept walking with her.

"Okay.  I know there's more."

Katelyn held her head down.  She didn't want to talk about it.  Though, Aphmau has always been like family to her.  She has to tell her.

"J-Jeffory is missing." She sputtered, her voice cracking.

Jeffory is a great friend of Katelyn's.  Though, Aphmau had thought it was more than that.  If Jeffory had been missing, who would take care of his daughter?

"Katelyn-"

"It's okay Aph, it really is." She gave a weak smile.  They had started picking up the pace in the enchanted forest.

With about an hours worth of walking, Aphmau and Katelyn had finally gotten to the old house.

"Hyria!" Aphmau shouted knocking on the door. She has to be home.  She thought to herself.

The door opened to a white haired lady.  "Aphmau! It's such a pleasure to see you!" Hyria shouted joyfully.

They had greeted her and asked to stay for a couple days.  Of course, she had said yes.

Aphmau took a seat across hyria and was sitting next to Katelyn.  She had a cup of tea in her hand and sipped it every so often.

"How are you two?" Hyria's raspy voice asked.

Aphamu nodded.  "I have officially become the most wanted fugitive in Ru'an." She said like she was proud of it, even if she wasn't.

It was honestly a pretty big milestone.  It had become pretty hard to become most wanted.  But Aphamu was crazy enough to do so.

Hyria nodded.  "I should be trying to talk you out of this but, you're a grown woman and overthrowing Garte would do more good than harm."

Katelyn looked at Aphmau and Hyria in shock.  She didn't know how they would talk.  Hyria suddenly looked at Katelyn and she got the signal.

"It hasn't been rainbows and butterflies but I'm not dead so yeah.  I'm doing okay.  Not to mention I'm a wanted for betraying the jury." Katelyn said the last part trying to be cool and shrugging it off.

Hyria snickered.  "That was cute.  You just tried to top Aphamu!"

Katelyn awkwardly laughed and gave Aphamu a playful glare.  Soon the whole house was filled with laughter.

Nightfall had hit sooner than they had thought. Hyria had set up rooms for Katelyn and Aphmau.

Aphmau slept like a baby and Katelyn had some trouble at first. She had fallen asleep shortly after.

Dawn had hit, and Aphmau had awoken. She checked the bed across of her and it was empty and perfectly made.

Katelyn had probably gotten up early. She thought. She sat up and got her things together.

She changed into her clothes and slipped on some type of armor along the way. She came out of the room and saw Hyria outside sipping on some tea.

"Morning."

"Good morning." Hyria had greeted back.

"Did you see Katelyn?" Aphmau asked.

Hyria shook her head. "I thought she was still sleeping, dear."

"Damn it." Aphmau cursed quietly. "I'm sorry to cut this short Hyria but, thanks for the stay. I really need to go." Before anything else could happen, Aphmau threw on her things and stormed out.

She had started running, taking long twists and turns to get out of the forest. "Never go back the same way you came." Aphmau thought. An old friend had told her that once.

She had found Katelyn. Her arms were turn and two O'khasis guards had her. Aphmau had her distance and started to follow them.

"You won't get away with this." Katelyn growled, her arms tied to her back.

"You shall pay for betraying the city of O'khasis." One guard said.

Aphamu threw on her royal blue cloak and had changed her appearance.

Aphmau sighed before approaching the huge gate. "Let's get this over with."
