Quality time for Aphmau and Garroth was much more different from other couples. When they had free time, training was one of the more enjoyable options.

Their swords collided, making a loud 'clang'. Garroth was winning, he had the upper hand.

"Okay babe, I get it." Aphmau huffed, smirking.   Sparring with Garroth was definitely a stamina battle, and Aphmau wasn't one to back down.

Garroth smirked back.

Aphmau shifted her weight Turning her sword to a different angle, making Garroth's stupid (but highly attractive) smirk fall of his face.

Now Aphmau had the upper hand.

"Teach me, princess." He whined, trying to fight back again.

She giggled before she stopped herself. "I will." She pushed Garroth off, making him fall to the floor, hitting his butt.

"Good job." She said, offering him a hand. He playfully rolls his eyes, taking it, pulling her into a kiss.

"Do you want to get dinner?"

"Sure. But nothin' fancy." She pointed a finger at him, glaring.

He chuckled. "Alright. Maybe I'll get a chance to spoil you sometime else."

"It's going to storm." Garroth remarked.

"Oh my Irene, really?!" Aphmau sarcastically gasped.

He rolled his eyes. "Yes. Now that means cuddles for us."

"Yes it does." Aphmau said, snuggling up onto him on the couch.

"This place is nice."

Garroth nodded. "I know."

It soon started to rain. It was heavy enough to hear on the window. Aphmau curled up against Garroth, paying attention to the movie.

There was a lot of wind, you could hear the trees swirling and Garroth could feel the raven haired girl start to become tense as the storm began to rage on.

Garroth noticed. "Aph are you okay?"

She gulped and nodded abruptly. "I'm fine."

"Those are the worst two words you could tell me." Garroth states, pulling her closer.

"I'm alright." She said, giving a weak smile.

He sighed, knowing that something was up.

It got later, the storm went on, pounding against the window. Garroth was sleeping and Aphmau was curled next to him.

Thunder roared, along with a flash of lightning, making Aphmau jump and quietly yelp.

She was afraid of thunder.

She started to get more tense, as she sniffled, trying not to cry. She somewhat felt safer around him, but she still didn't want to show weakness.

She continued to cry, letting everything else along with it out.

"Baby?" Garroth was shocked at the sight. "Baby, what's wrong?"

Aphmau shook her head as another wave of thunder and lightning rumbled through the sky.

She flinched, crying more. Garroth picked her up gingerly, making sure she was okay and holding her close.

"Don't leave." She whispered, letting another tear roll down her cheek.

"Im not going to." Garroth stated, placing her on the bed.

"I used to love storms..." She said.

Garroth was rubbing her back, letting her continue.

"But it stormed right after my mom.." She couldn't finish the sentence but Garroth knew.

She was in pain.

She started to sob more, breaking down right in front of him.  Seeing her at a type of low that she hasn't seen her in before.

"Hey, it's okay.  I'm right here.  Sh..." He said, pulling her into a tight hug.

"Aphmau, look at me." Garroth said gently.  "I love you, okay? I don't ever want to leave you."

She nodded. "I love you too." She said weakly.

She continued to sob, letting out all of her fear and sadness.  Pouring it into all one night. She cried herself to sleep.  But luckily Garroth was there, because he didn't sleep until she did.

He was afraid of losing her.

Garroth looked down at the sleeping angel, smiling to himself.

She was all his.

And he was all hers.

It stormed that night, but Garroth was looking at the beautiful storm sleeping next to him.
