It took three weeks.

Everything almost went back to normal. Some things started to improve. Travis and Katelyn had actually moved into the village, close to the palace that was going to be repaired.

Nicole had finally told Dante that Dmitri was his child. She went back to Scaleswind to tend to her lord business.

Zoey was up and running like usual, helping the people out at the thieves guild heal also.

Nana refused to go back to Phoenix Drop with Dante until all the critically wounded were helped. So she's close and around.

Laurance is getting help from Lucinda about controlling his power, they're back it Pikoro, but still are on their toes in case anything else happens.

Everything was okay except for Aphmau and Garroth. Scratch that. They were okay.

She had woken up in the first week, after Hyria treated her. When she healed a little but more, she told her fiancé the whole truth about her and her experience in the nether.

A traitor didn't help her, and Shad didn't just let her go.  She transformed into that 'Irene from', fought everyone and then escaped while she still could.

But Shad did educate her on what her power was and on the Nether.

She also explained that the only reason why she his it is because Aphmau never expected to ever use that power again because she almost lost control of it and that was too dangerous to risk.

It was also very physically draining.

Then after that, she went to Hyria to help control the power and to improve her endurance.  She wanted to be able to use it in emergency situations such as these.

Garroth took a little bit to take it all in.

He thought it was quite interesting, though. He wasn't mad. He would've done the same in her situation.

He watched as Aphmau held Lilith-Garnet. The child was a little over three months old. They both decided to stay here until the chaos died down.

As they left, they thanked Hyria before heading back. When they were at the doors of the palace, they received a big 'Welcome back!' From Vylad, Katelyn, and Travis.

"Aphmau! I was so worried!"

She smiled. "It's okay, Katelyn. I'm fine. I don't die that easily, you know."

Aphmau explained the whole, 'I'm a descendant from Irene' thing to her fiends in a short manner. Basically her Dad was a descendant but didn't have any powers and it got passed onto her for some reason.

They all sat down, Vylad included, having small talk.

"Me and Travis are together." Katelyn blurted out. Both of them blushing.

"I thought you guys were always together." Garroth joked, half heartedly because it was kind of true.

Aphmau laughed, her attention turning back to Lilith, as she fed her with a bottle. "That's good for you guys."

"So," Vylad crossed his arms. "When's the wedding, you two?"

The two blushed, then glared at the other couple sitting across from them. "You told him?!"

"How could we not? We don't like keeping secrets form your brother."

They sighed in defeat. "Well, maybe when the throne room gets fixed fully, we can have something nice and kinda small in here." Garroth suggested.

"I agree."  They were cut off by Lilith starting to cry.  "Aw, Lilith sweetheart,"  Was all she said before walking to the crib to comfort her and put her to sleep for the night.

"She'll be asleep for maybe five hours tops."  Garroth shrugged and Aphmau groaned.

"Now you've jinxed it."

Katelyn, Travis, and Vylad couldn't help but laugh.  "Oh my Irene, you guys sound like parents."

They laughed and shook their heads, taking another sip of the wine that was given to them.  "It's worth it though.  She's growing so fast!"  She shouted, not too loudly though.

"Yeah.  She is."

Katelyn took a bite before receiving a call from her communication amulet.

"It's Nicole!"

"Hey Nic!" Aphmau greeted.

"I'm so glad you guys are back and okay! And Aphmau, you have some explaining to do.  What the hell is that power you have?"

They all sighed and laughed, hearing her explain the story again.

"How did Dante take the news?"

"We had a fight, he was upset of why I didn't tell him when I was first pregnant with him.  But we made up. And Dmitri met Nekoette! It was the cutest thing ever. But I'm going to be in Phoenix Drop so let me know if you need anything-- And the others say 'hi'! We can't wait for the wedding invite! Take care Aphmau!"

And with that, the communication amulet went dead.

"Did you guys tell everyone?"

"Pretty much everyone important, yeah."  Vylad chimed in.

"I guess we should start to plan it then." Aphmau shrugged and smiled. She was a girl but didn't really care for big parties, well, at least if they were about her.

But it was also about Garroth too so it had to be somewhat special. But they didn't mind.

Dinner ended a couple hours later with laughs and a cry from an awoken baby.

"I was thinking, maybe we could all run this together. You know, me and you. Maybe Aphmau after the wedding."

Garroth finally talked to Vylad about the Lord situation and what was going to happen.

"I like that idea a lot. Especially because I don't want to do this alone. And I don't think you want to either."

"Yeah. By the way, while you were gone, I pardoned Aphmau for all her crimes."

Garroth sat there shocked. "Y-You did?"

Vylad chuckled. "You know, people don't really see the good in her like we do. They question me but I guess they're giving me the benefit of the doubt."

"I was all thinking on trying to give the members of the Thieves Guild some actual jobs. So crime goes down and everyone will be okay."

Vylad nodded. "That sounds like a great idea." He stuck his hand out. "Are we in this together?"

Garroth took it, then pulled him into a hug. "Together."

"Good. Now let's start planning his wedding of yours." The brown haired teenager patted Garroth's back as he blushed.

There was so much to come.
