Garroth thought that some of his father knowing about Aphmau was an advantage.

He could spend time with her whenever he wanted to.

He had a whole year, after all.  His father told him to ease her into it.  But Garroth was going to do that regardless of what his father told him.

But he counted down from that day.  He did t want to turn her in.

He also didn't want to have any part of a lordship.  It was over stressing Garroth.

He was stuck in the middle of something he had already agreed to doing. When was he going to tell her?

Would she be mad?
Probably.

He didn't know how Aphmau was going to react. He didn't want to tell her yet, they had just gotten off to a good start with those relationship.

It had been maybe a week now, since Garroth once saw her. He didn't miss her dearly.

Though, he understood that Aphmau was busy. Many people requested her to do certain jobs. She was good at everything.

Maybe not everything.

But she was skilled in many ways. Garroth accepted that he wasn't going to be able to see her for a couple weeks.

But it's not like they were fighting or anything. The distance just kept them apart.

Aphmau would usually speak through her communication amulet when she was free. but this time was different.

"Garroth...." A weak voice sprang from his amulet. He started to rush to his room.

"Is something wrong?"

"I don't know where I am and my head is killing me. I was suppose to take something from brightport and i remember someone or something knocking me out.."

"Aphmau-"

"It's really dark, please come."

"I'm on my way. Stay put." The amulet went dark.  Garroth felt overwhelmed.

Who would mess with my angel?

Garroth thought about his stupid question again and he realized that she is the most wanted person here.  Oops.

He sighed, throwing in armor, grabbing his sword and other weapons.  He grabbed other medical supplies he needed, food, water, basic things.

Then he was off.

"Prince Garroth is headed to Brightport."

"Hasn't Aphamu Phoenix been spotted in that area too?"

"Maybe he's going to find her and bring her here for an execution."

Garroth heard all the questions, the rumors.  He didn't really like them, nor appreciate them.

Though, it's not like he could ever confirm or e
Deny anything.  That would make everything worse.  There would be more trouble, more rumors.

It was easier to let the people think what they wanted to think.  It's not like it would effect him.  It's just an opinion.

He had no other way to get to Brightport accept on foot.

It would take two days for him to get there.  But that's the regular way.  Most people took the sea route instead of the enchanted forest.

So many people have gone into that forest and have not returned out.  Hyria is the protecter so she'll know when Garroth enters.
