Aphmau Phoenix was more of the heartless type. She didn't care much about love, especially after the things that had happened to her in the past, she did simply use people to get good information out of them when it was for a mission.
She had been in love, long before she had become a fugitive. She remembered everything. Every single thing that she felt. She still felt every bit of sadness in her heart when it didn't work out. When she was the one who ended it, it was something that had to be done.
"Who was outside?" Katelyn asked, snapping Aphmau back into reality.
"Pretty boy Ro'meave."
"W-Was he looking for me?" She shakily asked.
Aphmau shrugged. "We conversed."
"About what?"
"Nothing really." She shrugged it off, making sound like it wasn't something important.
"Is he hotter in person?" Katelyn questioned.
"Yeah. He is."
Katelyn smirked, seeing she walked right into he 'trap'. Getting Aphmau to admit anything was difficult.
Aphmau scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Shut up Katelyn."
She pretended to be offended. "I didn't even say anything."
Aphmau sighed. Then they both started to laugh.
"He'll come around." Aphmau stated.
"How do you know that?" Katelyn asked.
"I just know."
Katelyn had kept her head down the whole away time. That was when Aphmau realized that something was wrong. She was never this quiet around her.
"Katelyn?"
"Y-Yeah?" She answered, trying to answer in a normal voice.
"What's wrong?"
"Y-You wouldn't understand."
"Try me."
She started to sob. "A-Aphmau, I just love him Aphmau. I love him so much. I needed to know."
The petite girl engulfed her powdered blue friend in her arms. "Katelyn it's okay. Shh." She said trying to comfort her. Aphmau wasn't good at sentimental moments, not good at all, she was one to always hold everything in.
She doesn't deal with grief or any type of sympathetic in a regular way. She would just sometimes cause more trouble. In the end, she would end up somewhere, wishing and crying that someone would come help her, like all of her kept in feelings would just burst, which never ended up being a good thing
But it didn't happen. So Aphmau always tried her best to be there for the little amount of friends that she has.
She had calmed Katelyn down eventually, but it hurts when you're in love.
Aphmau of all people knew that. She knew that pain was inevitable. That it demanded to be felt.
(Kudos if you get the reference :)
Aphmau laid down in the bed next to Katelyn, sighing. She had started to think about all the things she's been through.
All the damage she's done.
All the flashbacks got to her. She shook her head and started thinking about something else.
She had just met the prince today.
She unknowingly smiled, letting the drowsiness take over.

Katelyn awoke, her eyes feeling puffy, remembering what happened last night.
She sighed before she got out of bed. She saw Aphmau start to stir before she fluttered her eyes open.
"How do you become such a light sleeper?" She asked in awe.
Aphmau shrugged. "Skill."
Katelyn rolled her eyes. "Get the hell up. We have to get out of here soon."
"And where shall we go?" Aphmau asked.
"Phoenix Drop." Katelyn simply replied, knowing hat her friend would not want to go there.
"No." Aphmau simply stated.
"We're going and there's nothing in can do about it, sorry."
Aphmau let out a heavy sigh.
She didn't want to go back to the city she's suppose to rule.
A/n: In sorry. I've been lazy and writers black hit me hard. I just wanted to get something out to you guys.
Love you all!
