Garroth opened the door. "How may I help you?"
"P-Prince Garroth!"
"Yes?"
"I didn't know you were staying here."
Garroth chuckled. "Yes. I'm taking a little break from everything."
"I see. That's very nice. We were called here because of suspicious activity but I guess it's the wrong house."
He nodded, ready to close the door. The guards said their goodbyes as Garroth closed to door.
He watched them walk off, then he ran up the stairs.
"Nothing?" Aphmau said, sitting back on the bed.
"Sorry."
Aphmau giggled at him. A frown followed knowing that she doesn't giggle often. She never usually laughed at all.
She's stuck thinking to herself how she fell in love with him so easily.
Garroth chuckled at this, already knowing what she was thinking. He didn't have to read her mind.
Aphmau groaned, lying back done the the bed with a gentle thud. Garroth following along with it.
"What happened to 'to be continued'?" She muttered the words, almost insulting him.
"What do you want me to do?"
She looked at him, furrowing her brows in confusion.
"Tell me, love. How should I start."
Aphmau's cheeks automatically heated up, knowing that this was his way of getting her back.
"I-I-"
"Just tell me what you want me to do, princess. Then I'll do it." The smirk on Garroth's face was getting larger by the second.
"Just- just kiss me."
"As you wish."
He gingerly had gotten on top of Aphmau, making sure to not put her in pain from her broken leg.
Garroth smiled, brushing the loose strands of hair from her cheeks. He lightly caressed her cheek pulling her closer to him, gently pressing his lips onto hers.
Aphmau's heart started to flutter, shutting her eyes, she slowly started to kiss back.
Their lips connected once more, feeling sparks fly as Garroth and Aphmau started to move in sync.
Every time she kissed him, it always seemed like it was the first time she has ever kissed anyone.
And to think that a kiss could make her feel this way.
She was Aphmau Phoenix.
She's not suppose to have feelings. She's not suppose to especially be in love with an heir.
She shook away those feelings, as Garroth parted from her, kissing gently down her jawline.
Aphmau let out a breath, enjoying the moment. Garroth whispered sweet nothings by her ear, loud enough for her to hear.
And you could say that every girl in O'khasis would be jealous of what happened next.

Aphmau was awoken by something moving downstairs. She looked around the bed, seeing if Garroth was with her.
He wasn't.
She claimed the blanket down with her arms. It's what was keeping her covered. She heard the noise again.
She reached for her crutches, grabbing every piece of clothing that was flown on the floor.
She had gotten a long shirt on so she didn't really need pants. She grabbed a sword and started to quietly stumble down the stairs.
A hooded figure just had taken his sword out of Garroth's chest. Aphmau dropped one of her crutches, covering her mouth with her hand, sobbing.
She dropped the other crutch, holding her sword with both hands, slicing though the figure.
But when she did,
It faded away. Aphmau kneeled down, seeing him, lifeless and dead. She sobbed more before something had pulled her out of that mess.
"Aphmau!" Garroth said, waking her from her dream. Her eyes were watery and her cheeks were stained with tears.
"G-Garroth..."
"Shh. It's okay baby, I'm here." He pulled her bare body closer to hers. Garroth brushed away the tears with his thumb, kissing her forehead.
"It was just a bad dream." He reassured, running his fingers through her hair gently.
"I swear, i-it felt so real."
"Would you like to talk about it?" He asked.
Aphmau shook her head, another tear spilling out of her eyes. She cried even more, sobbing into Garroth's chest.
She hated when anybody saw her cry, she thought that only weak people cry. That's why she never really did it.
Garroth didn't really have to speak. He knew that he just need to hold her. To keep her in his embrace and protected.
Aphmau soon started to calm down, when she did Garroth reached over the bed, grabbing one of the shirts that was thrown on the floor and gave it to her to put on.
She hiccuped from crying so hard, trying to force a smile. She put on the overly sized shirt in ease.
She got up, walking on her crutches and grabbing Garroth his pants and his shirt.
"I'm going to go downstairs." Aphmau said, gripping her sword tightly around her hand.
Concerned, he got up quickly throwing on his shirt and pants. "Why do you have your sword?"
"Just in case."
"Let me come with you then." Garroth smiled, grabbing his own sword to make her feel comfortable.
Aphmau made her way down the stairs, seeing that there was nothing to really see.
Garroth also made his way down the stairs, seeing her let out a relieved sigh. He smiled back at her.
"I knew there was nothing to worry about-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence. The shattering if glass and a screech of pain came from him.
Aphmau gasped, seeing what had happened to him. He started to sloppily walk over to the other area that was enclosed so no one could see.
"Shit! Garroth!"
She broke the arrow off, making it shorter. She examined it carefully, seeing that it was unfamiliar.
She knew that it was home made. She cursed under her breath setting it aside.
"Garroth, shit. Stay with me okay?" Aphmau used both hands to cup his face.
He nodded. "It's only the shoulder. I think I'll be fine."
He grabbed his sword while Aphmau jolted to go get bandages from the bathroom.
And then Garroth's world started to get darker and fuzzier by the moment.
