"WHAT?!"

Aphmau smiled and looked back at her comrades and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll have all the time in the world to explain after I'm done."

She jumped up, a white light illuminating off of her, as if she was engulfed by it. People, even Garte shielded his eyes.

As it dimmed down, she was still there, except two feet off the floor, floating wings now coming out of her back.

Her sword was bigger, better, sharper. That's when the shadow lord flew toward her as she blocked one of his hits.

"Now this is the real descendant of Irene the Matron herself." Shad's voice spoke, as the two started to clash.

Then Garte and Garroth were at it.

"Never would I have thought that my own son would turn on me."

Their swords clanged again. "Give up, father." He backed away, making sure not to lose balance from his fathers strikes.

Aphmau was too busy fighting one of the most powerful villains, also from another dimension at that fact.

Do not let Laurnace in here

Zoey was shocked. Did everyone feel that? Her voice seemed so strong, but she couldn't have said it out loud. Aphmau can communicate telepathically? She tried to nod, before sending the message to the people outside.

Their swords collided, she was showing signs of struggle. "You know, it would be a shame if your daughter ever knew about this."

"Do not bring her into this- agh!"

Shad pushed her to the floor, her wings still present, a slash going horizontally across her arm. She stood up quickly, the mark glowing and healing almost instantly.

Aphmau then jumped up, flying again, leveling ground with the shadow lord.

Katelyn saw two figures, one was dark, and one was radiating light. Why did Aphmau hide this from her?

Garroth on the other hand, seemed to have the upper hand. He broke the object that caused his friends to be paralyzed, they all scrambled to their feet, Zoey staying in the room while she shooed Nicole and Katelyn outside to reinforce.

Travis got to his feet, transforming back to the demon warlock and helping Zoey create a spell to keep all the shadow knights out.

Garroth clashed, blocked, slashed and moved around a lot. His father was using something to enhance his power.

"Where is your child?"

"She's not relevant." Garroth grunted, pushing Garte off.

"I need her." He said, swinging his sword in different ways, some he had problems blocking with. "But I guess if you won't tell me, then I'll just get rid of you now."

Garte got close enough to give one good, square punch to Garroth's face, causing him to become
thrown off balance. But he didn't want to give up. Knowing that his father only kept Lilith alive for him to sacrifice her made him sick.

All for what? Immortality?

Before he could recover, Garte rose his sword with both hands.
