Garroth Ro'meave was not just royalty.
And like every person, he has many faults and flaws. But you just can't see them.
He spent a lot of his time at the guild, right outside of Nahakra. He started to room with Aphmau since there was an empty bed where Katelyn used to sleep.
Though, there wasn't a lot of use for that bed. They usually slept on the same one.
But for caution, Aphmau enchanted the door to make it sound proof from the inside, they didn't want any secrets to be heard.
They were both getting ready, just in case they had a mission. They put their armor on and grabbed their weapons.
Curiosity roamed through Garroth as he watched his girlfriend start to braid her hair. He had tried it before but it didn't turn out that well.
"Can I try to braid your hair?"
She looked at him with a confused face, letting go of what she did.
"You know how to braid?" She rose a brow.
"Uh, kinda. Not really. I tried it like once on one of the maids because she was trying to teach me- but yes, I know how to."
She started to brush her silky Raven black hair, walking toward the bed Garroth was sitting on and sat on the floor so he could do it properly.
"I think you're going to have to scoot up, your hair is really long so-"
Aphmau looked at the blonde smiling, she did as she was told then he started to divide her hair into three equal sections.
Her hair was straight, soft and silky to the touch. And it also smelled like fresh flowers all the time.
He then put the left section over the center section and put the right section over the left.
Then he started to pull a little bit making the braid tighter, repeating the process.
Aphmau was smiling and laughing the entire time, she realized that Garroth was actually a real big dork sometimes.
He grabbed a hair tie (rubber band, elastic, ponytail holders ((whatever floats your boat))) and started to tie the loose and slightly uneven braid together.
"I have created a masterpiece,"
He gently put her braid to the right side, making it fall down her shoulder.
Aphmau giggled and pecked his cheek. "It's pretty good for a boy."
"A boy?" Garroth jokingly scoffed. "I, am a man."
She rolled her eyes playfully, "you can be whatever you want to be Garroth,"
"Hey!"
"I'm kidding!"
He laughed, lacing their hands together. She gave a cheeky grin.
"As much as I love this braid, I have to actually do my hair now."
She started unraveling her hair, brushing it again before starting to French braid her own hair.
He sighed happily, watching her again. His sword attached to his belt.
"Aph! Garroth! We have to go!" We hear Amber shout through the door.
She walks over, finishing up her hair. The door opened.
"Yeah Amber, we're ready. Garroth lets go."
He walks up following behind her. They hear the plan for what they have to do.
Apparently, the thieves were trained to be assassins?
And Garroth and Aphmau really didn't want to be with the beginners.
"Apparently, we have to kill some guy named Dustin."
She smiled. "That's makes the job so much easier. I've never heard of him."
"Same here. Now he's in Nahakra so that's convenient isn't it?"
Aphmau grabbed the hood of her blue and gold cloak, putting the hood up.
And Garroth did the same with his.
•••
They received the payment for their job as the two of them left the guild.
And they decided that they should go back to Scaleswind
They decided that they had people they needed to pay a visit to.
A/n: I thought that Garroth wanting to braid her hair was super cute lol
Much love!
