Shadow Attacks [16]

"Aphmau, get up." Garroth said, quite abruptly.

"What Happened?" She asked, pulling the sheets off of her, immediately starting to get ready.

"There's something attacking the walls of Phoenix drop and we need to help."

"What do you mean by something?" Aphmau asked, slipping on her boot.

"They're shadowy and have yellow eyes." He said, grabbing his sword.

Aphmau gasped.  "Crap."

"What?"

"They're shadow souls.  They're the only thing that can get through the portal before shadow Knights.  If they're here then there's a portal somewhere."

Aphamu tied off her hair which flowed into a braid.  She grabbed her sword.

"Let's go."

"Danté, fend them off.  Shadow souls are fast.  So make sure you're careful. If they attack you, they can cause some damage to you."

He nodded before Aphmau could run off. 

"They're in the village! Get all the people to safety!" Laurance shouted.

He was in a weird type of form.  He was red and he had a red sword.

He's a shadow knight.

"Laurnace you're a-"

"I'll explain later! Hurry up!"

She nodded, running and guiding people to safety.

She saw one of the shadow souls come at her, she got into a ready position, her sword in hand.

She swung and dodged.

It was faster than before.

Still attempting to fight the being, she swung her sword, watching it slip right past her, even though she did strike it. It was so fast, that she didn't feel the sting of her arm until a couple seconds after.

"Frick." She hissed, seeing the blood run down her arm.

Then in a puff, it disappeared.

"Garroth are you okay?"  He nodded, looking at Aphmau in concern seeing her arm.

"It's just a scratch.  I'm fine."

It was a chaos.  There was screaming, yelling and clanging of the swords.  She was running alongside him, making sure that everyone was okay.

"We have to find this portal." Laurnace says, angrier by the second.

"No.  We're going to find that portal.  You aren't a full shadow knight yet.  You need to calm down." Aphmau paused.  "You're not coming. Keep the village safe."

Laurnace huffed.  "Fine.  But we need to talk later."

Aphmau started running out do the village walls, going and taking all of the twists and turns. 

"Where the hell is this thing?! This last time is checked, the nearest nether portal was brightport!"

"We'll find it." Garroth said, looking ahead.

We started walking, seeing that there were two shadow souls nearby.

But it wasn't a nether portal.
