"What the hell are you doing here?" Aphmau looked at him with disgust.
"Aphmau-"
"I really don't want to see you here." She looked away, all of the hurt coming back.
"Aphmau please-"
"Don't you have a kid to get back to?" She rolled her eyes, her glare burning through him. He couldn't help but feel guilt when she said that.
"That was an acci-"
"Shut up." She paused. "You're saying that while we were dating, you banging some other chick behind my back and getting her pregnant was an accident?"
"Aphmau. Please, just hear me out."
"I don't want anything to do with you, Aaron." She crossed her arms. If she looked at him any longer, she doesn't know what she would do.
Cry, yell, scream,
"Fine." Aaron said, pushing through people, leaving the guild.
"Aph! What is he turns you in?" Amber asks, worry laced around her voice.
"He's not."
"How are you so sure?"
"He would've done it by now." She paused leaning on the door. "Plus, I'll be able to get away."
One swift motion and Aphmau was invisible.
"Right." Amber nodded, walking away.
Another swift motion with her hand, and she was back to normal.

"Garroth, I need you to fill these out, and I also need some help in the town square." Garte commanded him.
He nodded. "Yes father."
Garroth did love his father. But most of the time, he hated him with a passion.
Garte wasn't leading his people. He was just bossing them around. Garroth knew he has what it takes to be a leader.
But he knew that Vylad was more capable. It hurt him to see his father treat Vylad so badly. It's not his fault that his mom passed away from that.
It wasn't anyone else's fault.
Though sometimes, Garroth did have a habit of blaming his father for not being a good husband.
But that didn't matter. He started to trudge himself along the sidewalk to go to the town square.
As he walked. People swooned, stared. They always craved royalty.
But little do they know how terrible royalty could really be.
All he had to do was give a speech about some bring that Garroth didn't really care about. When he was done, he went back to the palace.
He really didn't want to be an heir.
At all.
He always wanted to travel, do adventurous things, he never wanted to stay stuck ruling one city until he dies.
He went and had dinner with the rest of his family, as they talked about politics and other useless things.
He secretly helped clean up the dinner table, and helped the maids wash dishes and helped them sweep the floor.
Garroth showered, went over to his room and collapsed on his bed.
Then he just let his slumber take over.
•••
Garroth was awoken by his doors opening. He sat up seeing Vylad with a grimace.
"Garroth, father wants to see you." He paused. He said it's important and he didn't seem too happy about it either."
Shit.
