That voice.
Aphmau's head was swirling with so many thoughts. She dropped her sword, making a thump on the hardwood floor.
"D-Danté?" She choked out.
"Hello, princess." He answered, walking into the dusty room and smiling, leaning against the door.
"I'm not a princess." She deadpanned, returning a scowl to him. At least not anymore,
"By legal law, you are."
"I can't believe you stayed." She whispered.
"Why would I leave." He stated, instead of it being a question.
"Wait, princess?" Katelyn asked, more confused than ever. Why was this guard calling Aphmau a princess? She's never tell Katelyn anything.
"You haven't told your friend I see." Danté said, still leaning against the doorway, swinging his feet onto the floor.
Aphmau sighed. "Danté. Sometimes you're an asshole, you know that?"
"Language much?"
"Whatever." She sighed. "I'm the princess of Phoenix Drop." She finally confessed, as casually as she could, trying not to have Katelyn freak out.
Katelyn's jaw dropped. "You're the dead princess of Phoenix Drop?"
" I should've told you sooner. I'm sorry."
Katelyn engulfed her friend in a hug. "It's okay. I get it. But holy shit."
Aphmau smiled. "Yeah. I know it's crazy, right?"
"Okay. Sorry to interrupt, but what are you doing here Aphmau?" Danté chimed in, ruining their little talk.
"Katelyn dragged me here." She simply answered.
"Well, just letting you know, one of the Ro'meaves is staying in one of the same inn as you." He warned.
"Blonde or black hair?" She asked.
"Blonde." Danté answered. "Why?"
"Okay, thanks. I was just wondering, I'll just head there now. Nice seeing you Danté." She hugged him, rekindling the fire of a very old and close friendship.
"You're secrets safe with me, Jessica."
"It's great to see you, old friend."
Aphmau smirked and left her house on the way back to the inn with Katelyn.

"You're in a rush to find the prince. " Katelyn teased, smirking at her friend while lingering outside of the Inn, waiting to check in.
"No, It's just late." Aphmau replied, making a poor excuse of a reason to want to come back.
The door opened and the two girls were greeted by the same nice clerk who checked them in when the first arrived.
"I'm going back to our room. You can go find the Ro'meave." Katelyn gave a happy smile and walks off.
Within five minutes, Aphmau found the room. It was only two rooms down from hers, how convenient...
She knocked quietly. "Ro'meave it's me, open up."
Footsteps were heard as the door unlocked. His blonde hair wasn't as nice as it usually was and his eyes filled with happiness.
