4 months later..

Garroth and Aphmau have mended some things together within the last four months. He tried to be there as much as he could after facing the attack of Tu'la.

Garte has decided that he wants to keep her around, make her into a spy after she gave birth or something.  He also said that he doesn't want anything to do with the child so they can do whatever they wanted with it.

The new year has freshly started and it was the month of Garroth's birthday.  He was turning twenty three and felt old.

This year Aphmau was going to be twenty two.  She's currently six months pregnant.  He visits her often, now asking about names and such.

(Not meant to offend anyone with those names :) all names are beautiful)

"Amy?"

"No."

"Amaris?"

"Maybe.  But I don't think it'll suit her.  How about grace?"  Aphmau asked.

"Definitely not Grace."

Aphmau laughed.  "We'll discuss this next time.  Okay?"

It was already dark when Garroth heard the first few booms of thunder.  A little shaken by them, considering that he couldn't hear rain from outside the palace.

He gasped slightly, remembering someone.

Aphmau.

He remembered how actually terrified she was of the storm that one night.  And I'm pretty sure she heard that.

He started to run toward the holding cells, grabbing Zoey from her quarters while he was at it.

Garroth quickly explained to Zoey about the situation and how he needed to get inside the cell with her.  Zoey quickly dismissed both of the guards, making them wait outside the prison block for their personal reasons.

"Aphmau?"

More crashes and booms were heard as she yelped, backing herself up into the corner of her cell.

"G-Garroth?"

"Zoey, I need to go into her cell."

She nodded, fumbling with the keys and putting whatever spell she needed to do to let Garroth in there.

He walked in, seeing her in a completely vulnerable state, she let out a sob, he bent down beside her, picked her up and carried her to the bed, being extra cautious.

Garroth wrapped his arms around her, letting her head rest slightly below the crook of his neck.  She gripping onto his shirt, silently sobbing.

Zoey stood there, in pure awe looking at the both of them.  She never would've known unless Garroth had said something.  She knew those two were so in love still.

But they didn't know it yet.

He ran his fingers through Aphmau's hair, occasionally rubbing and patting her back gently, letting her hold onto him.

"Garroth-"

"I know.  It's okay, shh.  I'll stay until you fall asleep okay?"

She nodded, resting her head on his chest, already feeling better.

The storm went on, and Garroth stayed with her until she fell asleep fully, which wasn't until midnight, when no other thunder or lightning cashes could be heard.

He kissed her forehead gently, setting her down in the bed before exiting the cell.

"Thank you Zoey."

"No Garroth, thank you.  If you didn't say something she would've been alone and bad things could've happened." She whispered the last part quietly.

Zoey patted his shoulder.  "Go get some rest.  Ill come to get you if she wakes up again. Ill watch her."

He trudged himself up the stairs, plopping onto the bed.  He was tired, but after that, he didn't want to sleep until he know Aphmau was okay.

The morning after, Garroth woke up drowsily, slowly getting ready.  He didn't have much to do so he decided to go see how she was doing.

Zoey was up and still cheery as she welcomed me, walking into the room that Aphmau was being held in.

It was around ten, she was already up and ate breakfast.  Her eyes a little red and puffy from crying last night.  She smiled brightly, mumbling many thank you's and I'm sorry's from last night.

Then they suddenly got to names again.  Zoey always joined in on this because she liked to watch them playfully argue.

"Allison?"

"Nothing that starts with an 'A'."  Aphmau rolled her eyes.

"Why? Your name starts with an 'A'."

"Because Azura and Aaron."  She answered again, scoffing at the people.

"Yeah.  You might be right. No 'A's."

"Laura?"

"That reminds me of Laurance.  And Laurance is like my brother and all but no.  What about Danica?"

"I don't know."

"What would you wanna name her then?"

Aphmau shrugged.  "Something really pretty."

"Aph, pretty is subjective, not objective."

"When I hear the right name, I'll tell you okay?"

He chuckled.  "Okay Aph,"
