"AND HERE COME YOUR SPARTANS!". The band was playing the fight song in the background. It's game day. Michigan State against Nebraska. Home game of course. My dad didn't let me do a whole lot of out of state traveling with the team due to online schooling and tutoring Kylie with her schooling. Plus, I had a lot of pets to take care of and make sure that nobody set the house on fire. My brother Kyle was on the team so it was kind of nice to watch him play, plus I get to watch my dad coach at the same time. Basketball is pretty much in the family's blood. Kaedyn, Kendal, and Kierston played, and now Kyle. It's pretty neat, growing up on the court and all.
Nebraska was having a rough season and we were undefeated, so we had no doubt that we were going to win. I mean my dad is a badass coach afterall. Kylie, Kens and I always sing the National Anthem at the homes games, so that the MSU basketball board don't have to find a celebrity to sing it and pay them to sing a 2-3 minute song. God bless America and all but those people are expensive as hell. We always sang it acapella. It was easier that way, to be honest. Not too long after we finished singing it, I got a strange feeling of someone staring at me. Obviously, I was in the middle of the court, but something felt weird. I looked around the stadium as I was heading to my seat. I just couldn't figure out who it was, so I just went on about my business.
The game was moving along steadily. We were ahead of Nebraska by like 50 points already. I pulled out my phone to look on my instagram feed. As I was scrolling through it, I saw a post with what looked like us girls singing, and it turned out that it was. Only you wouldn't believe who posted the picture. At first I thought it was one of my good friends, but it wasn't. It was Grayson Dolan. The twin of Ethan Dolan? Wait. If Grayson was here then Ethan had to be here, right?
