We got back to the house, while I went to go feed my babies; Kierston got settled in her room. Looks like Kens and her friends were already home... great. I head out to the barn to feed Hercules first since I'm already outside, so it was just convenient. I get to the stable and grab a bale of hay. It felt great to be outside along with my partner in crime. He was such a big baby though.
Hercules seemed eager to get out and run. After I brushed him, I fetched for the saddle to take him out. It hurt my ankle just a little bit, but it felt great riding again. The ride went for a long time, what felt like an hour maybe. When we got back to the stable, I put everything away and knew that I had to go back to reality again.
I get back to the house and take care of my puppies, Leia and Luke. As I reached for their bowls, they looked full, so I just went into the house. Walking into the house, I heard Kens talking about me. Not entirely sure what she was saying, but when I walked in she stopped. Her face looked like she knew that she was caught. Obviously something bad was being said. The whole situation was pretty sketchy.
"Nice to know you talk about your own twin"
"You don't even know what I was saying" she was quick to defend herself.
"No, but do I need to with that look on your face, my name being mentioned and the way you've been treating me lately."
"I haven't been treating you any differently?"
"Oh I mean k. Cool, I guess" I was not up for her drama today. I head up to my room to shower once again since the smell of horse lingers upon me. After my shower, I head downstairs to help plan. Papaw was a very important person to me. He taught me a lot of things that I will live with forever, like my music abilities, for an example, so planning this funeral was very difficult.
Not even ten minutes into this planning session, my dad asks me if I would be willing to sing his favorite song. Without hesitation, I took that offer. Of course Kens had to put in her two cents, "Of course Kolby gets to sing. She's the favorite" she thinks things like that are funny, but they're really not. I usually just ignore her, Kierston, however, did not take that well even though she didn't say anything. She wasn't looking for drama either.
