It Feels Right

"Yeah, I'm thinking tomorrow during the game, I'll sneak out and take care of it." There was a long pause until he started talking again. "Everything is set in stone, I even talked to both of her brothers about it. Her one brother talked to his people and everything is set." I couldn't quite understand what Ethan was talking about. I'm mostly surprised at the fact that he's not in my room sleeping like he said he would be. Well, I take that back, he did take pictures with fans so. I don't know anymore.

"Hey, ready to go back to the room?" I whispered. He nodded at me. 

"Gray, I'll see you tomorrow, Kolby is here now, she just got done talking to her dad, so we're going to spend some time together." He hung up, "Hey. That was a fast meeting. How'd it go?" He kissed my temple and grabbed my hand as we started walking. I couldn't hold my smile back when he grabbed my hand. 

"It was good. They thought it would be safe to go home because of everything that's goin-"

Ethan stopped immediately. "You're going home?"  He looked at me with wide eyes and an open mouth.

"No. Gotta let me finish ya goof. I told them we're not going home and we're staying because this could be a once in a lifetime kind of deal, ya know? Plus, we're watching my brother play tomorrow which I'm super pumped for since I haven't seen him in like forever. So no we're not leaving." I took my right hand and grabbed his arm.

"Oh good. I was going to cry if you were leaving. I'm not ready to let you go yet." We reached my room and he took the key out to unlock the door.

"You wouldn't have to let me go-"

"Ladies first" letting me go in the room first

"There are other ways we can keep contact and stuff." I said kicking my shoes off and flopping on the bed. 

"I know, it's just better when I get to hold you and see you and stare at you in person." laying on his side next to me. 

"You're so cute. Stop, I can't handle it." I laughed.

"Whatever, you like it." He teased.

"My dad said that we're all staying in tonight and if we go somewhere he needs to know details. But. I'm down for staying in and watching some Netflix and eating food. What about you?" I turned my head to him. 

"I'm down."

"Good. At least we have a night together, right?" I got a pair of comfy sleep shorts to change into that way I would be able to sleep in something where I don't feel suffocated.

"Hopefully more.." He said quietly.

"What? I didn't hear you." I said shuffling around in the bathroom.

"Nothing. I was talking to myself." Walking towards the bed, he had a very exhausted look on his face.

"Alright, whatever you say." I make myself comfortable next to Ethan who's laying there on his phone. Today was just super eventful and all I wanted to do was catch some z's. Once I got into the bed comfortably I turn to lay on my right side, so I had the window view. Ethan noticed I was quiet, he made his move to be closer to me. His muscular arms wrapped around me in a protective sort of way. The feeling of his warm breath on the back of my neck was comforting (sounds weird, I know). At this point we were basically spooning. "You know if we keep lying like this I'm going to fall asleep." I stated

"Fine by me. I'm tired anyway. You here with me makes it even better." His voice was getting lower in pitch with this sleepiness. Soon enough we both fell asleep. And it was great. I wasn't worrying about anything, thinking of the worst possible things, being depressed etc. For once I have finally found my peace. Ethan is my peace.
