Let It Go

Riker's P.O.V.

"Hey Vanessa." I said as I sat down next to her bed. Jade and Ross had gone home about half an hour ago. Jade was going to one of her classes, and Ross was going to go write new music. This past half a hour I sat just outside the room thinking about what to do. I had just decided before I came into room and had decided to tell her.

"Hey Riker! What's up?" He asked me smiling.

"I've been thinking about our situation and I think you should go on tour with One Direction."

Vanessa's P.O.V.

O.k. Now I felt bad. I know I don't remember Riker or the fact he was my boyfriend before the jet ski accident I've was told. But I can tell he really loves me, and now he wants me to go on tour with Harry. The only reason I remember Harry and One Direction is because 'story of my life' came on. That song has always been my favorite. I wonder if other songs could work for remembering Riker, Ross, and Jade.

"Are you sure you really want me to go." I said a little upset. I mean Riker was cute too, I just didn't remember him.

"Yeah, being with Harry for a while might do you good. You might remember more while your with them." He told me tearing up a little.

"O.k." I said tearing up a little too. With that he pulled out a ticket to Cheyenne Wyoming. It was marked for September 10th, a day after I was supposed to get out of the hospital, and also happened to be tomorrow's date. Yes, I'm getting out of the hospital today. The doctors have done countless tests to see if there was any water still in my lungs or any unknown damage to my brain besides the amnesia. The doctors said it could be anywhere from a week to a month before I regain my memory, but I would have to do some of the same things I did before the accident. I hoped I would remember my friends.

Riker's P.O.V.

I gave her the ticket to Wyoming that took off tomorrow. I always believed in the saying 'if you truly love someone then let them go, and if they come back then it was meant to be'. Hopefully after being with Harry for a month or maybe longer if need be...she would come back to me. I walked out of the room leaving her to contemplate what I just told her. I took my phone out of my pocket and dialed harry.

"Hello..." He answered on the third ring.

"I just told her...." I responded.

"What did she say...." He asked.

"Nothing just said 'o.k.'" I told him.

"How is she?" He asked.

"Still don't remember anyone here. But about an hour ago she seen one of your music videos and said she kind of remembers you." I said almost gritting my teeth.

"Wow, seriously." He said. I could almost see the stupid smile on his stupid face. I hated the idea almost as much as he loved it. But both of us decided it was for the best at the moment.

Harry's P.O.V.

"Wow, seriously." I said. This was the first I've heard of Vanessa remembering someone. I never would've thought that person would've been me. I was so happy, then I remembered I had Riker on the phone.

"Yeah, it was 'story of my life' that came on. And she just said 'I think I remember him'"

"Well at least she remembers someone, maybe someday she'll remember you too. I got to go though" I lied. "I got to do uh.. A Meet and greet here in Cheyenne. I'll talk to you later bye."I said as I hung up. I tossed my phone onto my bed and did my little happy dance. Oh My God she remembers me!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!

"What's all the excitement about?" Louis asked as he came into my room.

"Vanessa remembers me!! She watched one of our music videos and said so."

"Which one?" He asked thinking for a minute.

"Story of my life. Why?"

"Just curious." He responded walking out.

Louis's P.O.V.

Harry has been thinking about Vanessa non-stop. I think it's a bad idea for her to come here. She'll distract him too much from the tour. I think I remember something about Vanessa saying her favorite song was 'story of my life'. If I can find out which of R5's songs was her favorite than maybe she will remember Riker. It's worth a shot, for Harry's sake.
