Vanessa's P.O.V.

It's now almost noon. My parents had stayed long enough to make sure my baggage was cleared and that I would be fine on my own. I really wanted to listen to R5 but I had to wait until they called my flight. No sooner had I thought that then the flight attendants called out "twelve o clock one way flight to L.A. Now boarding at gate 2". OMG this is my first time on an airplane I'm soooo scared right now. I walked up to the lady at the booth by the door and handed her my ticket.
"Have a nice flight" she said handing me part of my ticket back. I walked through the door down the long hallway and handed the next lady the rest of my ticket. "Right down there" she said pointing to a spot at the front of the plane. I sat down and next to me was another teenage girl. She looked more frightened than I actually was. I started making small talk with her forgetting all about my music I badly wanted to hear. Her name was Jadzia but said everyone called her Jade. She was a very pretty girl. After talking for a little bit she started to open up a little more. I found out that she was going to the same college as me but instead of majoring in acting she was going to do fashion. She showed me some of her drawings and I have to say....they were really good.
After getting to know each other a little more the subject of music came up. This was the best part of my flight. I found out that Jade loves R5 and One Direction just as much as I do. I mean what are the odds that a girl I just met would love the same music I do and be heading to the same college as I am. Even better....her favorite members were Ross and Niall, so no competition between us. The rest of the way we listened to the bands, singing in our heads and dancing just a little bit. Anyways before we knew it the pilot said to fasten your seat belts because we were about to land. Me and Jade were sooo excited, it was like I was reunited with my long lost best friend. We got of the plane together, grabbed our bags and headed out the door. But as soon as we stepped outside we seen that there was two separate rides for us. We looked at each other as Jade said she had a plan.
"Bring your driver over here, and I'll bring mine" I did as she said and after Jade talked a little bit to both drivers it was agreed that we would both be taking my ride to the college campus. Inside the limo, I plugged my iPod into the speakers and played more of R5. Both of us sang and danced and laughed until our sides hurt and we felt the car come to a stop. I unplugged my iPod and opened the car door. As me and Jade stepped out we were in aww of how big and beautiful the campus was.
"Hi there can I help you with your things miss?" I turned to see a cute guy (not anywhere near Riker or Harry though) pulling a cart behind him.
"Sure" I responded smiling "it's not that much though" I helped him load my things onto the cart as Jade did the same with another guy's cart. I was about to walk and find my dorm when I turned back and ran to Jade.
"OMG we forgot to give numbers. How are we supposed to talk later about what dorm we are in?" I said handing her my phone. She unlocked hers and gave me it and I handed her mine. We quickly said bye as I ran back to the cart boy who was waiting patiently for me to catch up. After going to admissions to see where I was staying, we heading towards my dorm. I was staying in room 215. I opened the door to see a big suite with only two beds and a set of dressers for each. After getting unpacked I heard my phone tell me I had a text. It was from Jade, she was staying in room 213. OMG that was right next door, I almost screamed my head off. I headed next door to see Jade and her roommate. Her roommate was already unpacked, Jade hadn't even started yet. Before she could start I asked if they wanted to trade rooms, Jade could stay with me and my roommate could stay in her roommate's room. Both agreed and we moved Jade's stuff over to my room. As we were moving her stuff, my original roommate showed up and we told her what was going on. Luckily she didn't care where she slept and headed next door. Jade and I were sooo excited that we were rooming together we hardly slept that night.
