White tipped trainers slapped along the pavement as she ran, breathing hard, brown slightly wavy hair bouncing behind her. In her hand she grasped a slim-lined contraption that looked out of place even in the 21st century. She risked a glance over her shoulder before stopping in the middle of the road, slightly out of breath she placed her hands, which were clad in black fingerless gloves, on her knees bending over to catch her breath.

A curious sound interrupted her breathing and she straightened up. An odd wind followed and crinkling her brow with a suspicious look she stepped back. A blue box pulsed into reality before her, becoming more solid with every blink of the small light on top of it. With a metallic clunk the police box became totally solid, standing utterly still and quiet before her.

"Seriously-?" she whispered, mouth hanging a little open as she stared at it, daring herself to go closer, maybe go in-she couldn't be mistaken, could she? She jumped as the door squeaked open and a voice followed

"Ooh squeaky door-have to fix that.."

"it can't be....." She breathed recognising the voice instantly not believing it could be him, She had looked for him, tried to find him again. The doctor stepped out, back towards her pulling and pushing the squeaky door, seemingly trying to locate the exact position of the annoying squeak. His long jacket sweeping the floor, his dark brown hair still a mess of madly stuck up strands pointing in all manner of directions. He turned around as he said something about oil and gave a start when he saw her standing there.

"Miss Welsh!" his smile widened as he recognised her standing wide-eyed.

"Doctor?" She said blinking before giving a slight nod of her head and crossing her arms. She was a little shocked and surprised but she decided it was best not to get excited by his reappearance, especially now-after finding out what she had found out.

"How are you? Been a while...a few weeks?"

"Two months." She corrected fighting a smile.

"Oh. Months! Sorry- well-what a coincidence! Nice to see you again-you look... different." he stepped forward still grinning and she stepped back, now a little weary of him. The doctor reflected on his last comment as he observed her change of appearance. Her light brown hair now hung in slightly disorderly loose curls, No wig or fake glasses this time around. She seemed to be very casually dressed-wearing dark skinny Jeans and a long logo t-shirt. On her hands she wore black fingerless gloves and in one hand she clutched her sonic pen-while the other rested on her hip as she watched him taking her in. He realised there was a silent tension growing and broke it with "What are you doing in the middle of-" he paused to look at the street sign "Rochester Avenue- aven-ue always thought that was an odd word...Actually what am I doing here-".

Miss Welsh zoned out of the Doctors monologue and stared at the big blue police box- curious about how it just managed to materialise in front of her so easily as if it had always been there.A bleep in her pocket snapped her out of her thoughts. Heart suddenly racing, she pulled out her modified sat nav  the doctor had tampered with their last meeting. She had now managed to turn it into a crude tracking device .

"Doctor-"

"Yes?" He exclaimed over-eagerly.

She didn't have time to explain as a large figure clad in some sort of black leather with an overly large helmet suddenly stomped around the corner behind her. A heavily wired bulky black bazooka- like gun swung limply in it's grasp. The Doctors eyes widened as the creature aimed the gun as it began charging to fire.

"Running may be a good idea!" Miss Welsh, who had ran past him, grabbed his arm pulling him into the Tardis and slamming the door closed as he leapt into action at the console "Quick!" She shouted pressing herself against the door and squeezing her eyes shut. The blast from the gun just about missed the Tardis as it pulsed out of existence in front of the clumpy creature. The doctor looked at her, still pressed against the door, eyes still squeezed shut and smiled.
