"I'm not late am I? Damn hard to fly-that thing of yours. Bumpy." Peggys grandfather straightened himself up and adjusted his faded old green military uniform.
The giant seprant like Psyvorex pulled itself upright-an overly wide mouth splitting open as it slid forwards out of the font. It's mass silently hitting the stone floor and rearing up in front of the two Men.
"Oh-what's that then?" asked Peggys grandfather taing a step back.
"Psyvorex." Stated the Doctor not taking his eyes off the vast creature that swayed like a cobra in front of them. "Sorry" He suddenly broke his concentration and turned to the old solider. "what was your name? I'm the Doctor."
"Oh I know. It's me Doctor-knew you'd show up sooner or later, I had that faith. It's me, Corporal Arthur Watts ." The old man gave The Doctor a quick salute.
A loud gurgling hiss brought the Doctors attention back to the massive clear serpant looming over them. It's head turned slowly to the side and looked down. If it had features they would have looked annoyed.
Kitty stood on one leg, wobbling slightly. The other leg, lodged inside the beast. "Uhh...Hi there." she mumbled vsbaly trying to yank her leg free hurriedly.
"KITTY!" The Doctor barely had time to grba her before the serpant decended on her like a waterfall, drenching them both and knocking them to the floor.
The puddle of water left on the floor sucked back in on itself and twisted back up in to it's seprantine shape behind them.
Father McClellan grabbed the back of Kittys robe and dragged her to her feet as she spluttered and coughed. "Your time is up!" He held her tightly as he pressed a goblet full of writhing watery serpents to her mouth. "Drink and become one of us!"
"Get off of me! DOCTOR!" Kitty struggled, desperatly trying to avoid the goblet being pressed into her mouth.
The Doctor started forward but the huge snake drew up, blocking his path.
"GET THEM!" ordered the Priest.
"Should we do it now?" asked Arthur beside the Doctor "I think now would be a good time."
"do what?" asked the Doctor pushing and peeling off the multiple pairs of hands that reached out at him.
"Your plan!" Arthur insisted yanking open the doors of the Tardis and pulling out some thick broken ended wires.
"My plan?" The doctors eyebrows furrowed until he noticed the flash of a spark fizzing out of the end of one the wires. "MY PLAN!!" He grinned grabbing the wires. "Oh you genius!"
The Doctor turned and shoved the wires in to the chest of the huge serpentine psyvorex.
It looked down at the two wires protruding from it's chest, tilting it's head in confusion before the electrical sparks exploded in flashes of briliant white light. Coursing through the giant beast as it gurgled and hissed, writhing back and fore as it boiled from the inside and finally burst like a giant bubble.
Maggies terrfied scream hung in the air for a moment.
"NO!" screamed the preist launching forward. Realeasing Kitty, the goblet clattering to the floor. He knocked into the font as he tripped over it, slipping on the now wet floor. A flood of wriggling, watery psyvorex poured out cascading down from the altar and down the aisle.
Cries of pain and anguish echoed from the congregation all around them as the Doctor carefully and hurriedly picked up the two wires that jerked and sparked. Just before the flood of water could reach them.
