The Lost Series (A Doctor Who fanfiction) - 'Episodes '1-4

'Episode' 2 Mothballs part 6

"Bananas!?" Kitty exclaimed, still very aware of all the screams in the street beside them and the whoosh of a hungry Yulpee fying past "I didn't want to say this but You're crazy." 

"Just a bit. All the best people are." he sniffed "When did you last eat a banana?"

"why does that matter!?" she was getting irritated now 

"Pottasium!" he grinned "The only thing known to be as poisonus to them as arsenic is to you." 

".....so..what? You want me go round throwing bananas at them or something?" She crossed her arms...already having made up her mind what she was about to do. "Sorry but I think it's time we split up.."

"split up?" the Doctor echoed, puzzled.

"Yeap." she gave him a wry smile and patted his chest lightly "do what you got to do Doctor.....and I'll see you later." She turned on her heels and ran out again into the open street, Locking onto her target she didn't stop running full pelt into the back end of a Yulpee trying to reach a woman who had taken shelter in a car.  The Yulpee spun around and seeing an easier snack lying so conveintly on the floor took it's own aim.

"KITTY!!!" The doctor shouted as he watched her dive through it's legs and get it to chase her back dow the street. Yelling and shouting as loudly as she could, drawing all the attention away from the people. 

The Doctor pulled out the green sim card thing and turned it in his fingers again. "I hope you know what you're doing Miss Welsh."  The Judoons voice caught his attention

"Crime: Abstructing the course of justice, assaulting an officer-"

The Judoon held a terrified teenager a few centimeters off the floor by the back of his hoodie as he yelled and screamed for help.

"JUDOON!" The Doctor snarled "PUT HIM DOWN, NOW!"

The Judoon clumsily dropped the teenager allowing him o run off, it's hand hovering over it;s stun gun.

"Don't even think about it!" the doctor mumbled as he kicked off into a run "COME ON!"

"Think, think, think." Kitty gasped to herself as she ran aimlessly toward an open space, trying to lead as many Yulpee as she could away from people. So far she only had two followers....not enough.

Yulpee were everywhere Clumsily knocking  down  victims with their wings, landing heavily on them and leaving dried out human husks and screams lingering in the air as they lopsidedly took off again. Her mind raced with thoughts as she raced along suddenly skidding to a halt as she passed a shop window....

She burst inside and filled her arms with the product on the counter that had made her stop.

Bug spray-It was worth a go.

People clammored inside the shop, hiding from  the giant swarm outside.

A frightened looking woman called out“W-whats happening? What are those things?”

“Yulpee.” Kitty mumbled grabbing a couple of the red bottles

“What are doing with that?”

“Forming a plan-I hope. I promise when this is over I’ll pay for this all-stay inside and errr..... eat a few bananas.” With a deep breath she dived back out into the street, now awash with more people running & screaming from the Yulpee as they became quicker and more acrobatic in the air.

She grabbed a bunch of bananas as she jumped over a trail of broken fruit crates that a car had just driven into as the driver had tried to escape a Yulpee that had landed on the roof, peircing through the metal easily with it's sharp tongue.
