"So you graduated early. Are you born in an earlier month or did you skip a grade," Alaric asks. We were eating breakfast. Alaric made himself eggs and he made me some waffles. After that dream I had last night, I couldn't sleep. Alaric heard my footsteps going into the bathroom a few times and he woke up too so we just decided to have breakfast. It was about 6 a.m. now.

"Nah, I skipped a grade. My birthday is March 24. I'm not interested in learning so that's why I kinda wanted to skip a grade and I passed the test," I say. I would be going to college right now, but I just wanted to take a break. A lot has happened.

"What's your favorite subject?" Alaric asks me gulping down the last of his milk.

"I really like history. It fascinates me," I say stuffing the whole waffle in my face and then chewing. Nobody got time to cut with butter knifes and eat with a fork.

"I'm a history nerd too! I actually became a history teacher at a college near by. Since today is Monday, that's where I have to be. I'm going to be dropping you off at Stefan's house. He's actually a pretty cool guy if you get to know him. His brother is a little iffy, but he's also great," Alaric says as he starts washing his dishes. I grab my plate and go into the kitchen.

"Leave them, I'll wash them. Get ready, we'll be leaving in a few minutes," Alaric says to me. I nod and go into my room. I put on a white tank with a plaid shirt on top and black skinny jeans. I grab the only shoes I brought, my black converse, and go meet Alaric in the living room.

"Alright lets get going," he says as he grabs his keys and starts heading out the door. I follow him to his car and we drive over to Stefan's place.

Alaric stays in the car while I go over to the door and knock.

This very attractive stranger opens the door sipping on a liquid that was a dark red. Like blood. And the bag looks like a blood bag.
