"Zara, oh my gosh, we are already late," Damon complains for the 2234352354243 time. I roll my eyes. It takes a long time for women to get ready, well lazy women. The party started at 6 p.m. and I started getting ready at 5:50 p.m.

"Alright, I'm coming. I just wanted to look a little decent for this," I say running out of my door and into the living room with my new IPhone.

After Alaric and I ate dinner yesterday, he took out a cute little box saying it was a present. I opened it and it was a rose gold IPhone 6s. I literally hugged him so tight that he couldn't breath. Who knew Alaric could get so red?

I was wearing a casual black skater dress with black converse.

"Why are you wearing a dress? It isn't a ball," Damon says rolling his eyes. "This is casual, trust me," I say rolling my eyes.

"Alright, lets get going. If I knew you were going to take this long, I never would have asked you to be my date," he says putting his hands out and rolling his eyes. "Aren't we going in public? Can you really speed us over there," I ask jumping. He catches me, "Well if you call an abandoned campfire place a public place then yes, I can speed us over there," he says as he starts running. I grab onto my hair so that it doesn't get too messy since he's running at the speed of lightening and tree branches are everywhere.

Just as we get there everyone starts to stare at us. "Put me down," I whisper knowing he can hear me. "Nah, I kinda like this position," he says as he starts walking. I grab a tree branch off of one of the trees, "I can stab you with this, I'm kind of very close to your heart," I say smirking.

"Alright woman," he says putting me down. I walk over to Bonnie, "Hey." She smiles, "Hey, how is it going? And what was up with you and Damon," she asks me. "He really is just a friend, nothing more," I say clearing the air.  "I'm just saying, he just lost Elena, he doesn't really need another girl breaking his heart," she says. "I know he only thinks of me as a friend," I say smiling.

Unconciously, I turn around feeling someone looking at me and see Matt staring at me. But not in a good way.
