The past few days went by and Matt and I were closer than ever. But in the afternoon at about 5 someone knocked at the door.
"It's time," Matt whispers while he holds the door knob. I nod and sit up straight. It was time for us to stop acting all coupley and act like friends. Just friends.
"Alaric," Matt says smiling and gives him a man hug. Alaric then looks at me, "Ready to go home?" No, I'm not ready to go home I wanna stay here with Matt. I nod my head and smile following him outside the door. We walk outside of his porch and into Alaric's car. As we were leaving, I kept my eyes on Matt. He stood outside his door keeping his gaze on me.
"So how were the past few days," Alaric asks looking at me for a few moments before focusing back on the road. "It was fun, I spent some time with Matt but most of my time with Tyler," I say truthfully. Matt had to go to work everyday so we didn't get to spend much time together but the time we did spend together was like a dream. I know, very cheesy. I honestly could have spent my whole life like I did with Matt.
"Tyler huh," Alaric says smiling. "Alaric, focus on the road," I say rolling my eyes. He talks way too much. Just as we pulled up by the house I saw Stefan and Damon sitting on the porch. I smile, I missed them.
Once Alaric parks the car, I run out of the car and into Damon's arms. "Someone missed me," Damon says. Although I can't see his face, I know he's smirking. "Get that smirk off your face. I missed Stefan more," I say. This time I was smirking. I unwrap my arms from Damon's waist and hug Stefan.
"In your face Damon," Stefan says with a little chuckle. "Yeah, yeah. You always get the girls," Damon says walking into the house once it was open.
I stop hugging Stefan and look at his face. His face held concern. "You should be happy, he made a joke about Elena. He's starting to move on," I say patting his back and walking into the house.
I missed this house very much.
